    Headlights

Hi, For more information on the background of what HID's actually are click here: High-intensity discharge lamp The HID kits usually come with looms, ballasts, mounting brackets and lamps, and are as such not a straight bulb swap, but a little bit of extra work to fit (not terrible though by the looks of things). I believe the bulb types for the dipped is either 9006 for UK fitment and 9005 for J-Spec. I am not sure what variations there are above and beyond that for facelift yada yada, but I am sure someone can advise more appropriately if you ask a specific question I have a set of HID lamps sat aside awaiting my install when I get my finger out and stop doing work around the house Cheers, Simon.
  2. I have stayed at Longleat, Nottingham and Elveden. Loved them all. Hope you are used to riding a bike My ass was aching for ages after riding a bike for the first time in years when I first went It is always crazy going when the weather is crap and being outside in a lovely hot jacuzzi! I agree you need to book the activities ASAP. Food is good, they even have a reasonably priced and stocked superstore in the main shopping area - although I would make sure you purchase any beer well before hand as it is quite pricey there!
  3. The automatic raising of the aerial is dependent on the head unit. Some pop the aeriel up when the unit is on, others only when the radio is on - the automated announcement AF/TR stuff can cause the aerial to rise when using a function that you don't necessarily need one for - i.e. playing CD's I am interested in these too by the way . The feckin hooooge towering aerial of doom is only dwarfed by the M4 Junction 11 wind turbine!! I prefer something less in yer face.
  4. Yay, go you! Friday and your last day... lunchtime pub... just don't overdo it at lunch (unless you planned on it) and say something you *won't* regret in the morning
  5. Many Happy Returns :friday:
  6. Happy Burfday Amigo :d Blow the froth off a few for me will ya?

    max power mistake

Yeah... right... try covering your Max Power habit up remember - it is always best to admit you have a problem Heheh. Not seen this particular publication so can't help... just thought I would say - it's ok to admit you have a problem ;) lol
  13. Those things would be sooo funny if they weren't being sold "seriously". I find them offensive. They provide the classic example of "blinding with science" when there is in fact no proven scentific credence to back them. It reminds me of the magnetic fuel alignement connectors ROFL... attach magnets to your fuel line and you will gain 18% improvement on fuel economy due to the magentic rearrangement of molecules... F*CK off I am a chemist you w*nker... don't f*ck with me!! I am pretty sure that any dipole moments of hydrocarbons play little part when considering teensey weensey magnets in the rather turbid fuel/air system environemt LMAO.
  14. You are all figments of my over-active imagination... now stop it!
  15. I have seen figures quoted anything from +3 to +22 (lol) +3 to 5hp (maybe optimistic) with no supporting mods (decats etc) - possibly? Does anybody dyno their NA's in the UK to confirm individual mods like this?
  16. As a student when living at one particular property (was quite an old property) on Norfolk street in Coventry. I used to wake up sometimes in the night and swear I could see someone sat in the chair across from my bed... I was a little creeped, then assumed I was just having weird beer fuelled dreams rolled back over and ZzZzz After a week or so of being there some items started randomly disappearing for days on end, my hair brush disappeared for about 4 days and I had given up looking - either me being forgetful or simply losing it or one of my house mates was winding me up I thought. 4 days layer with no bugger else in the house, I sat on the edge of the bed watching TV, stood up to get a drink walked towards the door turned around and noticed my brush was sat neatly in plain site smack bang where I had been sitting! Creepy, yet still possible plausible explanations. I didn't mention this to anyone but after several otehr items disappeared, including stuff from the kitchen, and upstairs all magically re-appearing in the same spot on my bed 1-2 days after disappearing, I told one of my house mates - hoping they would say - HAHAHA YEAH!! WE GOT YOU!!! - Nope, they just looked at me as though I was bonkers. So I gave up searching for stuff, and accepted that it would invariably turn up a few days later in the middle of my bed heh. Other than being a little freaky, I just didn't let it bother me and carried on, mind you - the following year I didn't renew the contract there I still think it was just my split personality winding me up! I simply wouldn't let it bother you - just an interesting phenomenon and talking point

A few bits of plastic that slip over each other. Hard to explain without ripping my dash back out (not tonight... lol ). Once you are looking at the back and have a tug and twiddle, you'll know what to do. They do pull apart and eventually you are left with the hole - any particular reason for removing? Are you putting something funky there?
  18. LOL, love their "gallery". That site makes my eyes itch - no way would I be inspired to go there from that
  19. Ahh, think you got these from Gaz Walker (Envy)? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=28834 Matches more closely the time frame. And they do look similar. Wayne actually purchased some back then too
  20. The original group buy was posted about 6 months ago, and after various shennanigans, you are likely to have received them in December? You are selling them after a month of use? (I would imagine this will help with offers rather than saying a year ago... even if it *was* 2006 ). Why the sale? Not to your taste mate? Just curious as I love mine GL with sale, pukka mats!
  21. Oh man, I hope he doesn't get in any trouble legally for that site Looks like a proper fooked job on that ex car Does that company have a real net presence? Nasty nasty nasty.
  22. LOL, FATAL Mistake... I bet you told her in excitement... and then realised what you had done hehe. Well done Amigo
  23. I had something similar with Egg too. They are quite aggressive at selling this crap to you, and will either gloss over it in a rampaging terms and conditions no drawing of breath way, or attempt to shame and brow beat you into taking it. I take no such crap any more. Once I figured out they were pwniing me for something in the region of £80 a month (and when you read the fine print, this actually does not protect you from anything) I decided to tell them where to stick it... when asked what I would do should I fall terminally ill or lose my job, I said - find a new job, or if terimnally ill, do you think I will give a sh*t about the loan? My house will be paid and I will flog it or something!! - feck orf, cheeky feckers - do you want my business or not? It does seem that a verbal agreement on the phone carries a hell of a lot more weight than it used to... yet if you try and cancel anything on the phone.. NoooOoOO... must have your feckin signature witnessed by your grandparents and their grand parents and an official from the local government with his grandparents!!!
