  1. A while back, mine went all spongey and then developed downright dangerous travel. Replaced pads, fluid, even the master cylinder - turned out it was the frickin ghey rubber hoses. When they get old they seem to expand dramatically under pressure (lost elasticity) - so most of the pressure was lost expanding the hoses. Goodridge stainless braided hoses sorted that. Any doubts about my brakes now are being answered with a 356mm 6 pot GReddy (trust) set of fronts (rears TBA).
  2. Oh I see what you mean. There is mention of the RxTx project that has their own implementation using the Sun comm.jar and their own native libraries. There is a version 2.1.7 available bundled with native support for linux/solaris/windows/macosx. See: http://www.rxtx.org/
  3. lol since when has YouTube shitey quality uploaded happy slap style video footage been admissable as evidence? Bloody hell - one hell of a president they would be setting there (unless it has already been set).
  4. You could always have a stab at the javax.comm package: see: http://java.sun.com/products/javacomm/ Seems to be what you are after. I have never had any excuse to use it, although I guess I can find some time with the new AEM AFR gauge (handy RS232 output on it )

    Mkivstore

Do you know if there actually is no time limit any more, or if you got lucky with the Cashier not noticing the date, and the amount not being big enough to raise any eyebrows when it was processed? I'll have to ask the missus now, she works in banking. Apparently lots of cheques go through the system that should never clear (wrong names, no signature, altered).
  6. Been misswing too many Birthday threads Belated Happy Birthday geezers (Hope your collective heads aren't hurting too much after mucho birthday frivolities).

    so tired now

Rockin! WiFi on site? Or are you holed up in an extremely well provisioned tin box? I am an insomniac of insane proportions (to which my company takes the mic sometimes having me support UK, Europe, East Coast USA, West Coast USA and Australia all in the same week :d). Mind you - doesn't mean that I don't get tired when I don't sleep, so I can bloody well appreciate where you are coming from P.S. NUTTER!

I believe so - been semi stung by this before, not charged - but left with a great big WTF!?!? Hole in my account 5 months after writing a cheque... forensic accounting followed for the win!
  13. I quite like the layout/look What a frickin job on that manky Beemer, holy hell. Did you wear an NBC suit going in there?
  14. See what happens when you have a non-locking data model? Figure out who is 35/36 I will not modify Edit: Cheers Jake / or Crash lol - whoever did it...
  15. It must depend on the head unit how it handles re-direction of any signals (if at all). Sympathetic ICE component installations probably behave better than the vast majority of folks installations I for one am not overly famililar with most of the ICE specifics, but being one of the folk that can't tell CD from Vinyl, digital from analogue on the best part I guess my view counts for little I would just like the ability to add something better than stock without adding too much extra weight with possibility to change speakers later - I am pretty sure the door cards interfere something rotten with the acoustics regardless of brackets - anyroad, count me in - I've had enough of my stockers: 1.Sheefa (MR-MDF - Fitted and Sealed Speaker Rings) 2.Stevie_b (MR-MDF - Fitted and Sealed Speaker Rings) 3.m45sey (MR-MDF) 4.Chris and Alana? (MR-MDF) 5.Toyo Rob - depending on size MR-MDF (extra cost to re-jig machine of £8.50) 6.Jake (PLEASE STATE) 7.Ant (ABS) 8.Flip (MR-MDF - Fitted and Sealed Speaker Rings) 9. edd_t (PLEASE STATE) 10. ~Rob~ (MR-MDF) 11. 16. Balls of steel Amigo I hate "chopping" anything up, even with good instructions, let alone on a glimmer of a thought and a cunning plan (I always regret these when half way through I realise there was something I hadn't thought of - eek). Looks like you are on to a winner though.
  17. What about no1boyracer's EFMIC No more "modded to the max" than that bad boi!!(max bad f*cking taste and retarded idea that is!)
  18. lol I remember 3 channels - or was it two (maybe 2.5 as BBC2 was kinda on every now and then)? Christ!
  19. Get a cat! You can p*ss off out for a whole weekend and they look after themselves.
  20. Just to throw a spanner in the Suprastore bashing Before I was fully aware of any bad press with them I went and ordered a bunch of stuff from them that turned out to be wholly cheap for me (got a steal on some GReddy 6 pot fronts + misc bits), arrived on time and in good condition. I had good comms with a chap there called Sean and my experience was fine /shrug. Did I dodge the bullet?
