  1. Well... made me chuckle at least
  2. Bah no fair I have a 2 hour drive ahead of me now Good luck and gratz on winner
  3. Hahahah you think I have been reading any of this crap?... Oops I just did!
  4. You have to think a little mercenary on times. Would most assuredly at least go for the interview (with whatever excuse you can dream up). This other company may not even like you when they meet you - then there will be no dilemma!! Then if they are indeed interested and really want you on board, well... go for it! Money matters (well up to a certain comfort point - bang for buck - lots of bucks cover a lot of woes ) and if it looks as though you would be happy there that is a bloody huge bonus The place may not be what you think it and you wouldn't want to work there /shrug.
  5. How much wood would a wood chuck chuck, if a wood chuck could in fact - chuck wood?
  6. The quickest way to a mans heart... is through his chest of course!
  7. Blue flames on a Supra show a questionable taste and a judgement not to be trusted! jk if you own one
  8. Anybody here? I think it was an N reg (I was a passenger in mates volvo so wouldn't have been noticable). Rather large blue flames and some logos, looked to be a TT (looked stock bumper), friend hooning around corner at mach 10 though so didn't get a good second look. My friend also believes he spotted it in Farnham a couple of days earlier too (rathyer unique looking I guess with all that blue flameyness going on )
  9. That would appear to be the case from the info above. As long as your button is push to make, and doesn't latch as mentioned.

We get Pancakes and the Brazilians do Mardi Gras... we know how to rock!!! p.s. just sugar on mine!
  12. Hey there, lol you are right, as of December 2006 estimated population of : 307,261. Maybe I was getting mixed up with greenland or maybe just wishful thinking .. or was it that every bugger when I was last there seemed to be pregnant and I thought you guys had doubled in population by now!!!! I know people in Akranes but I think you are a little further north east than that? (well it wouldn't be west as that would just be ocean lol).
  13. Hi There, It is a completely different insurance market here in the UK sadly. It is not so much the horses under the bonnet as the perceived risks to either the car being stolen, going wrong, causing an accident, hitting an expensive car, causing legal/liable damage to third parties, car desirability, insert fudge factor N that the insurance companies think of! Horses under the bonnet tend to put restrictions on age and experience of driver rather than policy amount and what it covers. In Iceland you have less than 600k people, total? Is that right (last count) (I used to date a girl from Iceland ) - Here in greater London alone you tend to get in excess of 9million folks - so the markets can't really be equated Cheers bud - p.s. where in Iceland are you from? Si.
  14. Pretty sure it *was* optional on old ones Amigo.

    Cat Pee

Napalm? New carpet afaik is the best way to get rid. You could try soaking with Fabreeze, but not sure even that can combat the legendary cat pee!
  16. Someone has to watch eBay... gives me the eebie jeebies! HM Customs & Revenue are probably all over that place

    you're all w****rs

LMAO, I don't believe that there is anything remotely interesting in my PMs to/from anyone else. I always assume that any electronic transmission of data could be read by anyone... far from making me paranoid, it just makes me less surprised when someone knows something they technically shouldn't If someone wanted to go to the trouble of reading through my PM's etc they would have to be a sad soul with nothing much to do... hmm... I guess some people *do* miss watching big brother lol.
  18. I usually find new and interesting ways to make the mistakes that people lament when I read up on wtf I did wrong... I always manage to find ways to do things wrong If there is a guide I will read it - get stuck in, then realise either nothing matches, or I get to a very specific stage where the guide disappears into vagueness or my own mis-interpretation lol. Last weekend it took me 2 hours to fit a new frickin light in the front room due to "technical curiosties" with the wiring... I read the feckin docs, I had the tools to hand - it just wasn't the same as was stated!! (I am badly damaged by such experiences, therefore not quite as adventurous as I should be lol).
  19. Looking good so far Amigo I am too much of a chicken sh*t to do mine - I always believe after 20 minutes into a DIY job, that it would have been money well spent for someone who knows wtf they are doing to do the job for me I know my place in life... and it aint particularly manually skilled (Mind you I am getting more adventurous after successfully doing a dash LED conversion lol). It pays to have a friend that owns a garage though

    Slugs

    Quantum slug warping!
  21. That was pretty impressive indeed. The car was still running after taking such a hit.. ow. I would hate to see what sort of mess you would make of a Supe trying to do that lol. Leave the jumping to the scoobies (I don't much like them anyway ) - and I agree... Jamie.. *rolls up newspaper and points with a stern look* - NO.... NO!!
  22. Well, in light of this I have decided to announce the sale of my new product: http://waptech.ist.co.uk/o_pics/legalspeedo.jpg Supra lepton friendly face dials!
