I've had cars in various states of abuse and I have never seen a plug that can't be removed due to corrosion - and that includes on my dodgy old f**d escort! The only reason you should need new leads is if the resistance of the current leads is out of spec - you can check this yourself with a multimeter. I think these guys are BSing you mate.

Different size engines use different amounts of petrol. A car with an engine nearly 3 times that of your punto and giving out around 40x the power is not going to have the same fuel consumption as a shopping trolley.

The little white plastic bits should be there - I they're usually the first bit to disintegrate though!

The groove on the discs doesn't matter which way it goes, you need to look at the venting inside the disc to check rotation - should be angled pointing clockwise, so the heat is expelled as it turns.

I spent nearly 8 hours constant driving today. Not happy - we never even got to the gate due to traffic! Seen nice black and silver soops on the way there and back though Think it was M4 or M5

What a crock of shit. We drove down to Longleat from Burton-on-Trent - due to traffic, after 4 hours we were still 10 miles from the entrance and not moving at all. Gave up and drove all the way back home again. Only got informed at 5.30pm that the thing was cancelled anyway - I've wasted a whole day shouting at incompetent drivers on the sodding M4! Did see a couple of nice soops on the way though

Just finished - Thai Red Duck curry with lychees, pineapple, and tomato; Green curry with chicken and aubergine; Thai egg noodles with sweet chilli sauce; sticky coconut rice; spicy carrot salad (have you ever tried getting a papaya in derbyshire shops?!), and caramelised mango with honey to finish up. A bottle of wine, a few beers and now we're all off to the pub

damaged class B carbon laid over fibreglass laid over the original bonnet skeleton. So it's probably heavier than stock, with a slightly dodgy weave, resulting in people staring at it and muttering things under their breath at shows

I've beem working on mine and have wired in small SMT led's for each button in addition to the LEDs for the lights above them - gives a perfectly uniform glow. I used white ones to start with, but should be getting round to replacing them with blue in the near future, I'll stick some pics up when i do. -
