  1. B&Q are fooking useless mate! I bought some kitchen bits from them and found when I got home that 3 of the 5 doors had at least one corner bashed in - they must have been throwing them off the lorry! Still a door short now as they won't have any more stock for another 2 months! Useless twats the lot of 'em!

    Poll . . .

Is that not because they are generally posted in the traders forum, where the trader can play with them as they like?
  3. No, the H-Power is it's little known and infinitely superior cousin. bloody cordless keyboards!
  4. Presumably you mean the Silent H-Power? Pics attached. It's hard to tell cos of the angle of the shots, but the pipe doesn't come down any further thanthe back box - put it this way, I can straddle those 'parcel' speed-humps on standard j-spec suspension without any scrapes at all.
  5. Get yourself one of the 1-man bleeding kits (generally a sealed tub with a hose coming out of it). Starting at the caliper farthest away from the master cylinder / reservoir (i.e. n/s/r), attach the tube to the nipple and loosen the nipple off. Press the brake pedal down 5 - 10 times then check the hose to see if there is any sign of small bublles. If there is keep pressing the pedal and checking til they've all gone. Tighten up the bleed nipple, remove the hose then move on to the next one. Copper grease the backs of the pads as well. Also, make sure you thoroughly clean your new discs with a decent brake cleaner (Halfords own brand is crap imo). Good luck
  6. As above really, either an M6 or M8 bolt (can't remember which though). Remember to give the hub face a good wire-brushing afterwards to clean off any crap and then slap on a bit of copper grease to prevent it happening again.
  7. Do you have to build up those layers if you use pre-preg carbon fibre?
  8. Check your EGBV and EGCV pipework first mate

    linkin park

Yeah, they were probably my highlight of Download a couple of years ago
  10. Yes mate - replace the black hoses on the front of the inlet manifold and to the intercooler from the turbos. The other hoses I'm not sure about, but I think they replace some rubber hoses on the intercooler piping.

    How to gain weight

Avoid saturated fats in your food where possible - normal fats are a lot easier for your body to break down, whereas the saturates (e.g. junk food) can also raise your cholesterol level. Just stay healthy mate. Avoid steroids - have a look for some of the pictures of Sylvester Stallone after he'd finished Rocky. I remember seeing them years ago; he came off the steroids he'd used tobulk up for the role and had badly deflated, so much so that his chest was almost inverted! Like the guys said, don't overwork your muscles - work on different groups of muscles each visit, working in a cycle til you get back to the first set. Don't forget to have a protein shake after your workout too - this is when the body will be gasping for more protein. Remember, the body first uses protein to repair the muscles, only then (if there's enough) will it use the protein to build. Might be worth getting a personal trainer for a session once a week, someone who is qualified would really be able to help you towards your goals faster.
  12. When I had my bumper sprayed, the guy at the spray shop showed me his colour catalogue - there are 3 different shades of lucerne Silver (199) that they can stock.
  13. A write up would be handy - something I could do with if I decide to strip the engine down due to sheer boredom!
  14. These ones: http://www.fensport.co.uk/partsfiles/jza80files/samcojza80turbo.jpg The top intercooler pipes have been used and have some oil mist in them (which I'll clean, obviously!), the others are still in the box. Come with new stainless hose clips. I bought these from Fensport, RRP £169 All sensible offers considered, I will not split the kit though.
  15. I've got some 2nd hand blue samco ones up for sale shortly

    fensport

I've had a few bits and bobs from them - always friendly and helpful on the phone and delivery was next day every time.
  17. Congratulations Pete. It is a shame that certain police offers are so sub-standard that they can tarnish the name of the real, decent members of the police force.
  18. I stripped off most of the turbo pipework to try and get a good look at EGBV setup the other night - Gonna put it all back together and try TTC but I'm not holding my breath tbh.
  19. No mate - it's this one here (top one): http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/meter/md_meter/md_ttl.jpg
  20. Just to point out that this is the carbon face dial
  21. The more I see, the more I want! Looks great - how does it go?
  22. My Blitz Mirror-Drive boost gauge No scratches or marks on this 2nd hand 60mm 2bar mechanical boost gauge. I'll even throw in the length of silicon vacuum hose and T-piece I've been using. Looking for £85 delivered, Paypal preferred but please add 4%
