  1. Sorry mate, been golfing [badly]. Scanner's dead, so I've had to photograph them. Here ya go:
  2. Very nice! I thought Sumo had been OK'd to be a trader on here?
  3. I picked up a mate from the pub and his welder mates came out and all started probing and admiring my Carbing strut brace - giving it a good shake then saying how amazing the welds were!
  4. The pressure tank is a little cylindrical, um, tank hidden under your inlet manifold iirc and pressurizes the actuators to help them work freely or something like that. AFAIK it's a ball-ache to get out but easy enough to test. I'll see if I can scan in the Toyota manual pages this evening
  5. This is now definitely for sale, as funds are required for more pressing matters. All offers considered, at least it'll free up space in the garage.
  6. WD40 the EGBV actuator arm (down the back of number 2) and replace the vacuum hoses. Most people go for silicon hoses for looks, but ideally go for rubber hoses (you can get cotton-braided rubber vacuum hose from Demon Tweeks) would be a good start. Also replace the EGCV hoses and check the VSVs and actuator valves. The EGBV pipes are an absolute b*stard. Expect a lot of swearing and scraped knuckles! :edit: I had problems with no2 previously where it was stuttering, turned out to be duff coil-packs (I think - I replaced the fuel pump at the same time as well though) If everything else is fine, it could also be your pressure tank has popped it's clogs which would explain no pre-spool (well, that's my understanding of it anyway! )
  7. :edit: Goddam dodgy melted work keyboard! Beaten to the post!
  8. Depends on budget mate. A total refurb with new parts would be into the thouands.
  9. ah Well if no-one near you can help, you can bung it in the post and I'll try it for ya
  10. You should be able to check the switch with a multimeter, mate
  11. Excellent (in a Mr Burns stylee )
  12. Yup, contact Chris Wilson. It's £8.50 for a 3" but I think a lot cheaper for 2.5"
  13. wouldn't the SAFC or SAFC2 control 550s (up to a point)?
  14. Email sent re: Injectors mate (your PM inbox is full! )

    overdrive

I find it handy in the twistys as the car seems to get back to full boost sooner (if my car was boosting, that is )
  17. If you have a look at the back of the block and just behind the turbos, deep down there is the EGBV actuator with the assosciated pipes - it's about level with the 2nd turbo
  18. Bijal's on this forum mate (07010 712455), or try http://www.fensport.co.uk (or 01354 696968) You know, it really is worrying how many numbers I save in my mobile's memory! lol
  19. Could someone please give me the part numbers for the two coolant hoses in the pic below? Mine have soldified completely and one has a slight crack in
  20. Ummm, no thanks! You do realise that thanks to years of steroid abuse he's probably got a 1 inch cock?
  21. Cheers Steve! I'm still only finding my way around the engine bay tbh, just been reading up with some of the technical articles from here and mkiv.com! Cheers for that though mate, I'll go have a quick look now!
