What's your 2017 car plans?

Looks like my house has actually sold so it leaves me at a crossroads.

I will defo be enjoying the 330 Ci and doing some track days with Mike Ward & Rob Wild.

Keep or sell the Z4?? (Not sure as I love it, but it was meant to be a stop gap).

Finally purchase an appreciating Porsche, possibly the GT4. Just watching the prices at the moment but may go for a GT3. I can't ever see the prices going backwards.

Would love another Supra but it would have to be something really special. TRD 6 speed perhaps. I think the chances of that are minimal.

Drive it when weather/time allows. Keep it clean. Maybe a remap at some point.

That's about it really. I did enough to it in 2016 to keep me happy.

I also need to sell my current daily (mk5 Golf GTI) and buy something else that is equally as boring but better on fuel.

Finish my metal wide arch setup.

Fit my own built custom 13J Weds wheels.

Finish my Q45 custom led headlights with facelift/abflug hybrid inserts

Finish polishing the 4.5" VWR system

Install proximity LEDs to door handles.

Install new Infinity ecu and hope I hit 600hp with the new built r154.

Can't wait!!!!!!

Now that sounds interesting. Do you have a build thread going?

- New tyres

- New exhaust

- Repaint dash to stock look and feel

- New gauge pod

- Minor bits and bobs in the engine bay

If the cash magically finds its way to my pocket:

- Head rebuild

- Polish more bits in the bay

Other than, drive drive drive! :D

My Plan for this year:

Buy a UK Spec AUTO TT.

Get insured

And the main things I plan on doing to the car is:

Undersealing

Engine bay clean up

Interior refabrication

Led lights rear

Halo lights front.

Alloys and tyres.

Body kit

Paint/wrap (depending on how bad paint is)

Not really looking to go BPU+++ because it will be my first Supra so I'll take it easy and get used to the platform.

Hope you've all had a good Christmas and happy late new year :D

Why not just buy a j spec one? Will be cheaper to buy too. Uk's are rare and already look distinctive from the other models. Plus I think you'll have a problem buying one from a forum member if you tell them you intend to cut up their pride and joy :D

LOL thank you for the advice. The thing is, im 22, so I've been told UK Spec is cheaper to insure. If i can get a J spec TT and I can get it insured between £2k-£3k I'll take it. Insurance is the main struggle so I've prepared for it.

I've been driving a company car for 2 years so thats how I've gotten away with it thus far.

No that's a98pmalcolm, both our cars are the same colour. That video is what persuaded me to go single though lol. I'm just as excited about the noise as the performance!

Good stuff!!! When it's done upload to to YouTube and share it with the world haha. It sounds absolutely amazing. Good luck with the build mate and I cannot wait to see the finish product especially if its going to be like Malcolms.

Thanks mate. I will be updating my old build thread soon. Will be like Malcolm's but with a slightly more oem look to it, and aerotop [emoji3] I'm very excited lol!

I got a drone for Xmas so gonna attempt to make some videos with that once it's done [emoji6]

After two and a bit of ownership finally start my cars build thread! After a full SRD refresh and BPU in 15, last year I got big breaks, new suspension and some cosmetic upgrades. This year, further tidy up the outside with probably a re-spray and refurb the wheels. When I am out of ideas probably start planning for a single.

Rear Subframe refresh with new OEM bushes and powdercoat

Fresh underseal, taken back prepped and sprayed

New dash panels and fit stainless dress up parts

New metal monekey dials and AC led conversion

Send off all engine turbo, inlet and intercooler parts for powdercoat

Fit all engine dress up parts I've had sitting around for years.

A bag of enthusiasm aswell wouldn't go amiss!

Refresh and restore the underside. I've got the parts already but might add an OS Giken diff as well.

Rebuild the engine and crank the boost up

Hoping I can get it done before Dragonball but my main aim is to have the car on the road and out enjoying it while the better months are here

Just general Maintenance on the Supra nothing particularly interesting I should really fit the SRD Bumper trays I bought months ago.

On the other hand I have 4 new Stainless exhaust manifolds for the 2 V8s to fit to the big boat when the weather warms up and I have just been told my Dad has bought another small 19ft powerboat nothing special just a generic 3.0 thing that I have to tidy up.

In comparison Boats have allot more space to work on I suppose.

You're right JP but I'm running out of space. We've just bought a new Motorhome so that's taking up A few useful meters on the drive.

Bikes: ZX12R A1, Hayabusa K9, ZX10 B2, RSV-Carbon, GSXR11, TLR1000R, CBR9 (93 edition), Thunderace, Hayabusa RX (Gold), ST1300.

The ZX12 and Busa RX will never leave me JP :-)

I noticed the camper a few weeks ago as I regularly spy on your drive as I drive past.

You must be going soft Andrew ;)
