Looking freaking sweet. Love it :D

Thanks mate

Looking very smart mate  when's the next stage happening with all the nicely painted up pipe work and intake side?

Not sure yet, I have a mate and member on here, that has offered to help, so we need to sort out a day or two, and go from there. In the mean time I have a few jobs I can tackle by myself. Diffuser is high on that list.

Great job. Always spot on :)

Jake you planning to keep this a TT or maybe a single one day?

Thanks mate, one day maybe, but being honest no time soon. The plan is to carry on ticking off the jobs this year, send it for some mechanical work over the winter and some more body work, and enjoy it next year as me and Grace plan on buying a property so cant justify 10-15k on a single conversion.

May go hybrids though, and a rebuilt head, but still unsure on that one.

Sounds like a plan  head rebuild so when the time comes to go single, it should cost you a little less :D

The weather has been dead against me, every time I have a day off the rain hits and when I'm working its glorious.

So today the work was limited, and I have simply given under the bonnet a wipe over, removed the battery sticker, and fitted my igniter cover. Removed the last blue silicone pipe and now just need to order from ASH.

I do however have the whole weekend off, which for me is a novelty so as long as it stays dry the plan is to re-fit the diffuser and maybe cut it!!!! :imsorry::imsorry::imsorry: but think it will be needed to allow fitment with the NUR spec.

Also sort the stereo as it seems to be playing up, and give it another clean. May also paint the brakes and its looking like I shall be going with Bronze this time.

Today's jobs...

Have swapped out both of my rear quarter trims for some good used ones, as my one were cracked and one had a holes. Also wired in two rear speakers, and fixed the stereo so now it all works. And gave it another wax, also polished the lips on the weds for the first time in about 4 months, they came up great for a quick going over.

Also offered up the diffuser, and unfortunately it involves removing allot more than I originally thought, so decided to leave it off for the mo till I have more time. Instead I fitted a new rear bumper OEM trim.

Finally I got my decals for the brakes, and that is a job for tomorrow providing the weather holds off.

So they arrived, as did a single DIN cover which I'm planning on trimming to fit.

The lights are in great condition, just need to look at the looms as there is some splicing to sort.

Tomorrow, weather dependant, I'm planning on doing the rear brakes, fit the new tail lights, sort the DIN cover and clean the interior. And again May start the diffuser fitting! Not a job I'm looking forward to as I have to cut into it :'(

They are fitted and I have trimmed the din cover and fitted that too. Much cleaner all round. More jobs to tackle in a bit...

The diffuser is definitely needed now.
