Whats with power dropping off at 4k then climding less agessively?

is that fully mapped?

Or just a generic map available from previous cars done on a syvecs close to your spec?

I would have thought it should be a more linnear power curve with no dips in it!

That's good news at least, you can still drive the car around so long as you don't run it on full power :)

He worked overtime on Friday aswell just incase we wanted to collect the car this weekend which was nice of him. Although I think its been arranged Lee is keeping the car for aslong as he needs to until the Boostlogic box has been checked over and fixed. Then it will be going back on the dyno to finish mapping.

Lee and the SRD team have been absolutely spot on throughout as always

I think it was to do with the gearbox fault, they couldn't dyno the car in 3rd gear as they lost 3rd gear, so had to be mapped in 4th. Im sure Lee will know why. Once the gearbox issue has been sorted it will be going back on the dyno to finish mapping.

I cant see that affecting the power curve, looks like a bpu curve on stock ecu! All be it more power

Same here mate, Lee has fitted a stock auto as a temporary fix. Hopefully the box will be sent to Lee's gearbox specialist and see what Boostlogic actually do to call it an "uprated box" and then go from there.

They shim the valve springs pritty much what davidP does so I have heard , be good to see a full stip down though to fulley confirm as the information I have seen the company didnt name names, but owner did.

Glad to hear your be back on the road quick the stock box should last a while if limited to around 550 ftlb

Gearbox is with our specialist but he's very busy so can't look at it just yet.

Car now has a stock gearbox in it and John is collecting next week.

Big thanks to Lee for fitting one of his spare stock boxes so I can keep going until mine is assessed and fixed. What again was it he said about the boost level ? :D

We have the car back and took her to the Bluewater meet on friday night. The car feels spot on and handles much nicer after the GEO setup, gives you much more confidence. Also the flappy paddles are brilliant, to be able to hold the gears in the rev range you want is brilliant. Pulls so hard in 2nd gear at only 1.4bar :D also you dont have to worry about the gearbox kicking down unexpectedly which is nice. Once we have our built box back in the gearchanges will be nice and fast and really will be a brilliant setup.

Here's a couple of pictures after a nice clean. Will try grab some more soon once we've gave it a good detail under the bonnet etc.
