Good news guys and really glad it's back on track. Is the box being upgraded whilst in for rebuild, what spec you going for? SRD doing all the work I expect?

The box is with Lee's gearbox specialist, he will inspect the damage and see what modifications Boostlogic have done to upgrade the box. Depending on costs to rebuild our current box etc, we may look at going for one of SRD's stage 3 or 4 built boxes.

P.S. those rim look awesome.

Car is going into SRD next Tuesday to initially have an SRD stage three box fitted ready for Dragonball and this winter will be upgraded to a Stage four for peace of mind ;)

So are you going to buy 2 uprated gearboxes in less than a year or upgrade your stage 3 to a stage 4? Is that not like buying twice either way?

No you buy the stage 3 at one price and then purchase the extra stage four bits which are fitted to your stage 3 box. Reason not going stage 4 straight away as the stage 4 bits are manufactured in the states and it's a 3 month delivery.

Whichever way I do it I end up paying for 1 stage 4 box but having to do it in stages.

What a beauty! I had a massive smile on my face when i heard it on WOT on the Dyno - sounds awesome! That was at the first set of big upgrades i believe, probably sounds even better now! Still haven't seen you guys around and i'm relatively local to you too. I've got to admit though, i think i prefered the ccw's for the look of this car - everything else is spot on!

Thanks very much for the nice comments- yes the car is coming on and the sound is even better now it has the HKS Ti exhaust. The original wheels were actually XXR's and were only ever going to be a stop gap and I have always lusted after the meister sp1's

Hope to see you around soon.

Not much to update really, but a few new items have been added on a recent trip to SRD.

New genuine UK spec front discs and Porterfield race pads fitted because Dragonball killed the old brakes for obvious reasons :D. Also new Porterfield pads fitted on the rear with new anti squeel shims. Whilst it was in SRD dad couldn't resist having a shiny Mechman alternator fitted. Apart from that not much has changed, currently waiting on the stage 4 billet autobox parts to arrive from America. Once they have arrived the car will make a trip to SRD to have the box fully built to stage 4. Currently running stage 3 SRD box with flappy paddles and its been great, no issues whatsoever. But stage 4 will give us peace of mind and more headroom for the future if need be ;). But once the box is fully upgraded its back on the hub dyno for mapping. Here's a few pictures from Dragonball and of the new parts fitted.

Supra is with SRD for a few bits to be done, first of is a set of Recaro Speed leather seats fitted to Bride Rails. A big improvement over stock and look great with the interior image

Whilst the car is with Lee he has changed 2x coolant pipes under the intake manifold as unfortunately on Dragonball whilst having a hoon one of the coolant pipes burst and made a massive mess! Luckily thanks to James (TheTurtlesHead) and the other James (Littlenum) they managed to source a pipe from a local bike spares shop and get us back on the road for the remainder of Dragonball! Big shoutout again to them, club spirit at it finest

Also the supra will be getting undersealed and the sills straightened and rust treated.

Pictures to follow as and when I receive them :).
