Chris Bailey Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) A little update. Managed to get the car out for a quick spin today, came across a C63 AMG that wanted a play. Left him for dead on 1bar of boost He gave the thumbs up on the way past. Not really a race more a demolition, but to be expected . Only downside was we blew an intercooler off later on. Bit annoying as we had to ease it home. Was a little fiddly to get back on but all fixed now . Still haven't had the car over 1.3 bar as its plenty fast enough will have to test 1.7bar soon though! Chris Bailey Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 Been having trouble recently with an intercooler pipe popping off on heavy acceleration/full throttle at 1bar. After having the car up on the trolley jack 4-5 times the problem has finally been fixed (fingers crossed) Managed to spray alot of hairspray on the silicone and the intercooler pipe and double clamp it. Its holding 1.3bar and stayed on when dad took a few people for a spin at Bluewater.
