Dnk Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) There are 45 hotels in Lille but quite a few dont have many rooms, also according to book.com quite a few are already booked up with only a few rooms available with quite a variation in price. I would imagine that if you get lets say 50 + cars going then it might be that 2 or 3 hotels will be required possibly more. Are any of you guys able to have a word with a large hotel and book most of the place out? Aware of a place which has secure parking & half decent rooms? Can I just confirm a few things with any of the "organisers", hopefully we will be leaving on Friday morning, then staying two nights somewhere, then travelling back on Sunday afternoon ish. Good afternoon Mr Obama, I am please to confirm availability for your group. We have a parking for 100 cars, it is outdoor but safe (gates are closed during the night and security come each hour). I can offer you special rate of 70€ for single room and 80€ for double room. This rates are per night and including breakfast. If you want to reserve do not hesitate to contact me. Best regards, Antoine MATHA Chef de Réception Told him we was a very important club in the UK and was meeting with our French Club, advised that we were looking at a few hotels in the area and were looking for a good group discount, then threw in that this booking would be good press for the hotel! Prices are not as cheap as now as that is more closer to peak season. That works out to £133 for two nights (Double Rooms) including breakfast, secure gated parking & security patrol (with machine guns). That rate for two nights in a single room works out to £116 in old money.
