One possible plan is that we get the eurotunnel on the Friday morning (having stayed in a Travelodge the night before), then when in France we head down to Lille and find the hotel and check in. We then head out for a little drive to a local scenic spot for pictures and then back to the hotel. Saturday is an optional drive out somewhere (probably around 120 miles or so) and then back to the hotel. Sunday is a trip to a general meeting point such as the seaside and then back on the eurotunnel. So the extra driving bit is optional for those who need to save money.
