Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 Yeah it was really odd, Hamilton was 13th going Into the last corner and was on a hot lap, maldonado was kind of sitting there so Hamilton just bump him out the way, I didn't really catch the miss hap further on, but Maldonado has a 5 place grid drop. Dnk Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 Hamilton hardly touched Maldonado in the chicane and in my opinion just drove up the inside of him. Maldonado should of got out the way and should of known Hamilton was coming. From what the tv showed after the flag was Maldonado cut across LH hitting his side pod and damaging his front wing. I think it was very poor and probably deserved a harsher penalty than a 5 place grid drop.
