I'm sure I can do a vid or two. Johnny.G is going to call up with his GoPros when he gets back from the US cos I'm not too technically minded lol.

How can you say that your not technically minded John you've just spent the last few years building an awesome show winning car :D just a different kind of technology :)

I am very much looking forward to the videos :D

Hi Honey, I'm home :)

I'm beyond tired, so how does next Sunday sound? I've a wedding on the Sat, but the Sunday, weather permitting, might be perfect.

Next weeks no good Johnny, I'm off out with Paula for a meal, and to the casino in Newcastle next Saturday so I'll be in a state on the Sunday for sure lol.

Christ that rolling anti lag is awesome.

So long brake boosting.

Honestly mate it's the most fun thing EVER. No waiting for boost as long as you get your revs right. I had a play with a revo sport stage 4 Focus RS (450hp ish) the other day. I thought he would have got a few cars lengths before I got good boost but I obliterated him for go. Let go of the button and BOOOOM, instant 1.8 bar, when I let off the throttle I was well over 20 cars lengths away and not far off 150 leptons.

How does the rolling Anti Lag work John do you just hold down a button while pushing the accelerate or is its foot down on the clutch job?

Press the button, floor the throttle, (your speed doesnt increase much), when it hits full boost it pops and bangs a bit. Then let go of the button and all hell breaks loose.

Wow that's awesome :D sounds like one of the best features of the Syvecs tbh :D

Well I wouldn't say the best, but I would say the most fun lol.

It's safety facilities and engine trips are unrivaled. It's saved my old engine a couple of times. I wouldn't fit any other aftermarket ECU to a car.

Bit of an update. I've been let down with the alternator, so I've decided to bite the bullet and order a new SRD 160 amp unit. Spoke to lee today and there in stock so hopefully I'll have her back on the road by the end of the week :D

That sucks that whoever afformentioned person is let you down over the alternator, glad your going for one of Lee's :) and good to hear the car will be back on the road soon :)

Oh and as for the Syvecs, your right, tbh it's worth it's weight in gold for all the engine saving features, and a very good price as by the time you've got an AEM standalone ECU and RLTC that's probably only about £500 or so away from what the Syvecs would cost, plus the Syvecs has aload of features the AEM doesn't and you get Ryan to map it :D maybe I should be a Syvecs marketing man after that :p

It couldn't be helped really, he runs his own garage and was under pressure and just didnt have time. I'm better off with a new uprated one anyways. Just waiting on Lee getting back to me with a price. Hopefully I'll get her back on the road this week.

Good news, Spoke to Lee today and ordered 1 of his 160 amp alternators. He can also have it to me for the weekend too. Weathers got to be nice so I can go have some fun. I've not drove it since I got back from the dyno.
