How come you have put the reg on the fuel rail?? or is it a single feed in at the front?? the reg normally goes on the return, if you are dual feed are you sure it will still work ok.

Andy frost did it. I have a single -10 feed @ front, Works fine. My Road T67 has fuel feeds both ends and a return in the middle. I am getting aerated fuel when i run below 1/4 a tank.

The theory behind doing it this way is that you get less Aeration/cavitation and when pulling foreward G's the fuel is helped to get pulled through the rail!

Andy runs the same system albeit twin on his 9.3L V8 TT 2,400BHP engine.

The car still needs a lot of fettling. Just getting a feel for where everything needs to be located and relocated :)...But on it flat out hoping for a shakedown (weather permitting) in the very near future :D

Looking good Stu

How near till shake down?

Will 1st round be the date :eyebrows:

http://prostreetdragseriesuk.freeforums.org/2010-psds-dates-t567.html

or is Pod the more likely venue?

Gaz

Should be on the road by next weekend

Hoping to be confident enough to run the first round @ Shakey 17th/18th April :D

Shakey will be my preferance as only 300 mile round trip compared to 500+ miles for pod.

I see what he has done, quite a good idea, by going -10 into the front you can use the rear as the return and just screw the reg in there, if I were starting from scratch I would try that myself.

What times do you reckon this will run??? If Dave Price's car gets here in time we might have some quick cars out this year, judging by the surface at the pod we may have some expensive repair bills too!!!

Ok Well i have hit another hurdle, The exhaust has to exit through to rear of car as i cannot run a wing exited 5" system without major mods, ie moving brake servo or cutting through chassis member!

SO i have a 4" Boostlogic downpipe and mid pipe that currently runs to just behind the seats (2nd catback)

I need to source a 4" catback exhaust or silencer to finish the exhaust for road useage. I did struggle on my white car to find a true "Free flowing" 4" ID silencer and backbox.

My plans would be to have the 2 slinecers removable for the strip. I am looking into truck exhausts suppliers to see if they can help. In the meantime i will post in wanted for a 4" ID system, But i will have to cut it about anyways as the Hauser chassis rail severely limits ground clearance and Pipework routing.

I might experiment with some 4" Truck flexi stuff and see how i get on...In the meanwhile any suggestions greatfully received as i am too close to mapping to fall at this hurdle:innocent:

Why not just make one? Have you asked Paul Whiffin? He has them made and can possibly point you in the right direction?
