  1. It was a night i'll never forget, we camped overnight and it was mad but this was a long time ago so it might be less crazy now or even worse lol
  2. I went to this years ago and it was bonkers, a car ended up on the bonfire, crazy people firing rockets into the marque where the bar was and a couple of guys in a fiesta had fixed in the boot a row of steel tubes at varying angles and were driving round causing mayhem, was like one of those rocket launchers the armys got.
  3. When i did mine yes i agree you need to bed them in as you should do on any car but i've never had a spongy or soft brake pedal that was in anyway a concern.
  4. Dnk

    Headlights

Buy UK spec glass ones, they're only around £300 for the pair
  5. Shouldn't have to bleed the system just to fit pads and discs, you would just ease the old pads outwards pushing the fluid back up to the master cylinder then fit the new pads and discs then pump the brakes up to push the pads back.
  6. There is a thread on this show if you do a search, a couple of guys were sorting out club tickets and a show stand http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?296694-Jap-show-finale-club-stand-booking-tomorrow
  7. It's easy enough to do but does look a nightmare once you have all the dash out. Can be done in a day if you follow the guide and are confident at doing the job.
  8. Afraid its a pretty good chance your matrix needs replacing, check the passenger footwell carpet and see if its damp or even wet with coolant.
  9. Looks like an F&F fan owns it, shame there's no pics at night with the neons lit up. Just needs some wicked graffix to finish it off
  10. Hi Lee, can you do a 58 reg Q7 3.0 TDi S line 240 hp? If you can how much to do it and what gains in hp, torque and mpg is expected
  11. Now on P/H as i think i've found my new 4x4 which i view tomorrow
  12. Been there done that, mine pulled the paint off the bumper and the tosser that did it cut through the paint. Luckily it was just the front bumper
  13. Good news you got it all off with no paint damage
  14. Give Chris a call, he's a jolly nice chap and can do various set ups depending on what you want.
  15. I hope it doesn't take the paint off but if it does it could get quite expensive and cost more than the wrap cost. Fingers crossed for you, i'd personally take it off very carefully, heat the whole car up in a spray booth and then use a hair dryer or hot air gun and easy does it
  16. They're 35 front and 30 mm rear drop as near as damn it, my car had a TRD widebody kit fitted so you cant exactly compare but it was pretty low. I only struggled on sharp inclines as the front bumper was around 4" off the deck
  17. My car with the Eibach pro sport springs got over all the speed bumps by me as long as i took it easy over them. My car though would be 8 mm higher on the rear and 8 mm higher on the front due to my car being on 295 30 19 and 255 35 19
  18. To do a wheel properly i think you'll spend more trying to use a paint stripper, 4 litres of nitromors is getting on for £40 and i doubt you'll strip 4 wheels with that much, let alone the mess it creates.
  19. Theres a few alloy wheel places on here that might be worth a call http://www.yell.com/ucs/UcsSearchAction.do?keywords=alloy+wheel+stripping&location=Yorkshire&scrambleSeed=91638072&searchType=&M=&bandedclarifyResults=&ssm=1
  20. If you strip in phosphoric acid then 95 to 100% of the wheel will be back to the aluminium and only require a small amount of media blasting if at all. If you use a media in a normal blasting cabinet it would take quite a while to achieve the same results.
  21. Working in partnership with a leading chemical company a solution was developed which we believe to be the most wood friendly chemical to date. We can strip doors, furniture, metal, MDF and veneers, kitchen cabinet doors, alloy wheels, powder coating, etc. We care for our customers, proven by bulk order discounts, free estimates over the phone and handstripping using the latest flowover system. We have undertaken many large contracts for many local authorities, stripping paint and stripping varnish. We dip strip and hand strip and have dipped doors for many large building companies in Yorkshire and Lancashire, please contact us for further information. Taken from their homepage on their website
  22. http://www.dipnstrip.net are in Leeds
  23. Yes that's whats in the links, like a rubber thimble, much nicer than adding a piece of hose with a bolt or top hat in it
