  1. Is that the standard ride height? Like you, I quite like some ground clearance.
  2. Bring it along to the next meet Dave!
  3. Several causes of this as you've pointed out, but a common one is that the nylon toothed belt with which the motor drives the aerial up and down is snapped/perished. If this is the cause, the remedy is a new aerial mast unit (which comes with the belt attached to it). You might be able to hear a click when the motor relay engages: sorry I can't be more specific on that, it's been ages since I've played with it.
  4. Form for getting the code doesn't seem to work: I fill out the form on the website, but then says "error input". Download of the file works fine.
  5. £350 sounds cheap! The 2nd gear synchro in my W58 is worn, and I'm looking at getting it replaced: £500+VAT ish just for labour. Parts are on top of that.
  6. Wing it. It's one of the supra's USPs.
  7. I thought I'd seen most modifications that could be done to a Supra: grass-effect bodywork, home-made widebody kits made of wood, etc etc But relocating the heater controls to the centre console box is a new one on me. No necessarily bad, just ... different.
  8. I remember when Michael agreed to have himself banned from here for a week for charity. Now that's mkiv Supra folklore!
  9. ... but apart from that he was alright wasn't he?
  10. Here you go: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?49871-Heater-Maximum-Output-Temperature-Too-Low/page2 Post 16 contains everything you need.
  11. This is like women and dresses! Can't you have the same colour car as your neighbour?
  12. Do you know which newsagents sell it?
  13. I don't usually chip in to For Sale threads with chit chat, but I will do here. That looks fantastic. I love the OEM look. A real sleeper!

    Car price

This changes all the time, so there's no long-running guide. Currently, I'd guesstimate a red/silver 94 TT auto with about 100,000 miles would go for around £8-9k. That's just a guide, it might be higher or lower than that depending on condition etc etc.
  15. No water loss or mayonnaise in the engine. I've only owned it for 2 or 3 months and I've no knowledge of the history before then. The only engine-related oddities I've noticed are: - A short cough in all gears at about 2700rpm once the engine is thoroughly warmed up. - Consumption of oil
  16. It definitely exists, I went on it this morning. It's a problem with the OP's computer.
  17. You mean martinayers.com, not martinayres.com (the latter isn't owned by anyone). This is probably caused by some malware on your computer. Check your "hosts" file on your computer (see the section "Websites redirect elsewhere" in this page: http://www.howtogeek.com/172141/how-to-fix-browser-settings-changed-by-malware-or-other-programs/). If that doesn't help, flush your DNS cache: http://sunnyoasis.com/services/DNS-cache-flush.php Definitely do a virus scan on your computer.
  18. I'd probably go for the 2nd hand custom kit. A huge amount depends on who is selling it though (and if it's not the same person, who's car it has come from): I wouldn't touch some sellers on here or on the facebook group with someone else's bargepole, let alone my own. How long has the 2nd hand kit been fitted to another car? How many miles has it done? I know very little about forced induction, but I would guess the FMIC should be OK as it has no moving parts?

  20. So that's your date of birth. I'll have to guess the year: 1959? Can I just have your mother's maiden name, then I can clone your identity?
  21. That is a really, really nice car!
  22. Keep any comments to her on-topic though. If it descends into hate messages (like a lot of things on twitter seem to do), it won't do us any favours and could get you into serious trouble.
  23. That's strange. Apat from the handbrake being on and possibly a door being open (?), I don't think the red triangle light would come on under normal driving if there weren't any error codes being logged. It sounds like you've got more pressing issues than the warning light (i.e. get the fueling/ECU sorted out), but it also sounds like your other warning light isn't working too. When the red triangle comes on, do you also get the orange engine symbol light (the EML) come on too? I would definitely expect this to come on, and if it doesn't, it's probably caused by a dry solder on its circuit board: common problem.
