Simples stick the 4wd gearbox, drive train and engine in from an aristo. The V8 aristo comes with a 4WD box. Its not a huge power capable box but its 4WD and will drop straight in.

I haven't started running yet. It didn't kill me lol, and I am going over to a more sustainable diet plan next week.
-
OK crash dieted this week so far for 6 days with a 7 day plan on porridge 50 grams dry in the morning made with water and salt and 100 grams of long grain rice laced with tabasco a couple of peas and some raisins that's a hefty 500 calorie a day diet. Strangely I haven't felt at all hungry despite slashing 2000 calories off at least a day. I dropped from 15 stone 1.5 pounds to 14 stone by end of play day 6. I hope to take another 3 or 4 pound off before the weigh in tomorrow evening. Next week I start exercising. I'll start with 2 mile runs daily and try and push that out to 3 in a couple of weeks whilst attempting to stick to a 1500 calorie diet that I've spent a bit of time sorting out with the other half. I may well smash in a week of the 500 calorie diet every month until I can fit back in my 28" waist fire traps I adore so much.

And stories like this are precisely my reasoning behind finding virtually every religion full of falseness, convenient facades, and across history outright corruption. Religion at its core wields power. That power attracts to its leadership the complete wrong type of person. There are very few people that follow the true path of any religions core values. We are too lazy, selfish, and narrow minded as a species to truly commit to the values of religion. The people that realise their inherent weakness's and at least make an effort to abide by the rules without becoming tyrannical about it all are about the best of the bunch. FWIW I took my children to a christmas mass last night despite the fact that I don't do religion at all. I did it, and encourage them towards prayers etc with their nan who is a proper botherer to allow them to form their own opinions on the whole pullava. As for a particular religion not celebrating christmas that much considering the fact that most muslims don't drink and these days christmas is pretty much a booze fest I'd of thought its not that much fun, you wouldn't expect Jewish people to be keen on a bacon grill festival would ya lol. Having so many prophets in a religion must make studying it very hard. Is a prophet similar in nature to a saint?

To be fair 90% of celebrants are only worshipping the god of capitalism!! I detest the values christmas has become.

for sale Supra RZ TT, J-spec, Silver, Low miles.
dangerous brain replied to TopgunTT's topic in Supra Classifieds
Its insane really. I wanted your car if I'm honest to take the brakes off for my aristo and then sell on with my J-spec brakes on for the same money in april/may whilst having a supra TT for a lark about in. I'd hoped to make a couple of quid on the seasonal change in value on top of having a grands worth of upgraded brakes on my car. Misfortune on my part has seen off my speculation. What I don't understand is that in a very shark like forum that this one can be why someone else hasn't seen and seized this opportunity? That is unless you've been like I have in the past and refused offers from sharks even if they are on the money. -
wanted swap aristo vvti for gs 430 anyone...
dangerous brain replied to rxv8's topic in Supra Classifieds
Could try the aristo forum dude. That said not many will accept a GS after having a TT aristo even if it does have a V8 in it. -

Dude I came into an unexpected period of unemployment. Had I been on par for an end of year high like I was expecting I'd have bought it as a fifth car as a money maker for next summer. I personally cannot see why an entrepreneurial individual hasn't snapped this up as a way of taking a grand over a few months with no expenses. -
If everyone had them fitted tomorrow against their will there would be outrage. It would however highlight the fact that most speed limits are in fact outdated and too low. The fact that thousands get picked up by speed camera's in 50 mph restricted motorways and there are no accidents in said areas shows that the 50 mph speed limit isn't really required. The fact that absolutely everyone on the road drives faster than 30 in 30's show that limit is too low (doubt everyone does speed in 30's? try driving at 30 in a 30 and see how big a queue you get behind you, and in some cases how many times you get brashly overtaken!!). Speed limits themselves are completely inflexible and so will a system that enforces them in a totalitarian fashion. Its not really a big jump for a system like this to be wired up to the traction control to cut the power should a car be speeding either!! Here comes the future and that future is wrapped in bubblewrap!!

I really like that. Updates what is becoming a very tired looking old car now. Lets face it that is significantly better than most of the chavved up offerings that are knocking about now lol.

I can vouch for the boat trip being an epic that I'm sure Ash will never want to repeat again. For those that don't know the boat is a genuine camel trophy rib that is as rare as hens teeth. My bessie bought it to restore to go with his camel trophy landy. It was an epic that took poor Ash over 24 hours to complete in the end due to complications (one complication being the trailer had no jockey wheel and the release mechanism refused to operate for at least 30 minutes when it was delivered, this was just the nice part of the job!!) At gone 3 am he had to bin it and get some kip when everything had gone utterly wrong (the vendor of the boat didn't set off when he should have and then changed his mind about meeting further down country adding approximately 5 hours onto the round trip) VOSA decided to spot check him and selected him for a complete going over for over 3 hours. I have to say that I was quite suprised at how chirpy Ash was at 10am when he pitched up with said boat and the bloody trailer wouldnt let his wagon go. This was after the only road that was comfortable to get up (its tight on access where my bessie lives) was closed. I doff my cap to Ash for a job extremely well done and actually think that if our story is anything to go by some decent narration of these events would be very interesting.

Decanting nitrogen from one bottle to another?
dangerous brain replied to Chris Wilson's topic in Off Topic
I'm way down south. That's quite a sizeable bottle, sounds about 30 litres? Any one that is a technician on here at a RAF base will be able to fill it for you easy enough. How much does an N2 pump rated to 300 bar cost to hire then? -
To elaborate a litle when you take that little light section out (its a couple of phillips screws holding it in from memory) you'll see a bunch of Lshaped bars going into the circuit board. Its where the bars go into the board that they get detached from the solder joint at the board. A quick dab of a soldering iron and flux should set them back properly.

What's "worse" a NA with a 3" exhaust or a TT with a 2.5" one ?
dangerous brain replied to alex2jz's topic in mkiv Technical
If you keep the cats you should be alright. Perhaps a restrictor ring AKA J-spec BPU could help out with the back pressure. -
You can get a power steering pump service kit which replaces all of the internal parts. If you do the job yourself remember to take the power steering reservoir off and apart and was it out with brake cleaner or the likes as most probably the reason it failed in the first place was it was starved of oil because of a blocked strainer in the bottom of the reservoir!!
-
An arm and a leg lol. Most only want a couple of hundred quid though

Decanting nitrogen from one bottle to another?
dangerous brain replied to Chris Wilson's topic in Off Topic
To get it straight you want to put gas from one bottle you don't own to the same size bottle you do own? You really aren't going to get any more than half that gas from one cylinder to the other without extremely serious gear. You are talking 3000 psi here. That's no half assed pump you are talking about! If I was anywhere near you I could charge your bottle at work gratis. Maybe if you know anyone on here that is an aircraft technician up your way they could do that for you. How many litres is this bottle anyways? -
I wouldn't go second hand either unless you absolutely know its nearly new.

Loss of power suggests that the engine itself is not performing as it should. Consistent clutch slipping would stink of burning clutch or the car would just not take off from a standstill. Go back to basics. Open the bonnet and look at the engine. Are there any pipes that are disconnected or perished? Are your air supply pipes all intact. Look at all your electrical plugs are they all intact? Maybe your MAF sensor could do with a clean? When was your air filter last replaced? For that matter when was the car last oil serviced? Look at the basics first, engines work on Air, Fuel, Ignition, and Cooling. On top of that you can get performance problems from exhaust baffling coming adrift and blocking the exhaust. I'm not sure why your gearbox would tire out at this point in its life its certainly not usual.
