I love this topic it gets the bleeding heart liberals, staunch anti-immigration, staunch protectors of several different versions of common sense all rolled into one place Personally I think the statement that multi-culturalism is not working isn't 100% true but you'll notice that it is struggling in a big way in certain places. Anywhere you have poverty in pockets the people living in that pocket will attract attention. As it stands there are a lot of muslims in those areas across Europe. Its not because they are muslim in faith that they are noticed more that the media and general populace have created a label called muslim and heaped all the sh*t aspects of poverty areas and the problems of the country into that label. FWIW I believe we really do need to do something about the state of immigration in this country for one reason only, we currently do not have the resources to deal with our existing population let alone more people that on average are underprivileged people. Hows about we start a new system 1 out 1 in. The serial bludgers and proven benefit cheats get swapped for someone that can and will work

The MX3 1.8 lump is sweet as a nut though. Put the car in its class and era and we are talking CRX Vtec, and golf GTI 16v. Beat both hands down in handling and acceleration. Its not a supra or anywhere near it but FFS it is an excellent hot hatch and has better seating and storage/boot space than any supra.

From what my mates back at Odiham said it was only his NVG mount on his helmet that stopped it coming through. Had it hit the actual helmet it may well have gone through. There are 2 pilots on board that aircraft in those situations in case you lose one. The whole lower end of the aircraft is now armoured with inch thick kevlar plating but there is nothing you can do about the front of the aircraft as its difficult to see through kevlar plate. Not alot you can do about RPG's either which is why we've lost 2 chinooks to them and another had an RPG go straight in one side of the aft pylon directly in front of the AVS and out the other side without detonating. Had it detonated we'd be 3 chinooks down now. If you consider that it takes 3 years to build the replacements if we can afford them we don't want to keep losing them. As for the guys coolness in the face of extreme conditions you will find pretty much all of those guys are like that. Its their bread and butter and they have been doing sh*t like this for 15-20 years. These guys have been getting shot at since 1990 in Northern Ireland, through the entire Balkan conflicts, two sets of gulf wars, and now Afghanistan. They are quite unfortunately very used to it. Reminds me of the pilot that took a birdstrike to the face that left him utterly blinded, he flew the aircraft in by being talked down by air traffic control.

My best mate had one of these years ago. Awesome little motor. Very nifty, handles like a roller skate, and I believe tops out at 138 mph?

This isn't toyota and I'm no guy from ebay. I've been around here a while. I'm telling people that they can buy factory refurbed/brand new UK spec brakes for £363 and I am showing them exactly where. If they still choose to pay the same money for items with 1/2 their useful life used up then thats up to them, they can't say I didn't tell them.

Wouldn't it be an idea if you said what cars they would fit or the PCD and offset etc in the advert?

Can we get some of those wolves for our motorways

It depends on why you have to move on. If its to accommodate a family then people move onto german cars like BMW, audi, etc but its an expensive move. If its for something more modern you get people moving onto 300Z's Z06's some M3's etc. I don't know why people go with BMW, audi and completely ignore the aristo after spending huge money on mods for their supra over the years that can be stuck straight on an aristo. Fair play an aristo is not a supra but then neither is a 3 series or a s4. Maybe people just like starting again lol. A hell of a lot of others spend every single penny they can borrow on their supras to the point they can't afford them any more and end up having to sell and stuck in the sh*tter that they used to run because they couldn't afford the fuel costs.

From how I understand the flow of conversation the guy is saying that you won't get 800 wheel horses from a T67? That sounds about right, nobody would expect to put 800 bhp on the road with a 67 sized turbo no matter its construction and certainly not on pump gas. Does he then not go on to name some slightly larger turbo sets that are capable of doing this whilst keeping the setup reliable enough to run on the street?

No disrespect intended but if copper wire was invented by 2 jocks fighting over a penny then micro circuitry was invented by the dutch fighting over what was left of said penny

I spoke to Arnout today and from what he said there was a lot of keyboard warrior bickering going on. FWIW Arnout doesn't take fools lightly. Devils advocate but that might explain why he left when he did.

Big single auto .... with or without Hi Stall?
dangerous brain replied to Jamesy's topic in Supra Chat
Funny I've never driven my auto any other way. Just for the uninformed does a 3800 TC mean that the car revs to 3800 before the drive kicks in? -
I'm sure I saw a program where some head case jumped from 10000ft into the huge hole that number 7 jumped into. He was still freefalling when he went in the hole at terminal velocity. Its somewhere in Mexico that hole.

6 OMG a real masochist lol. You'll be needing a minibus then -
I take that the sale of the supra is for a deposit for one of those bad boys Save lots of cash buy an aristo, stick a single on it, you can keep your wheels and out accelerate M5's everyones a winner lol. Nice car BTW

You do realise that selling this car will be your biggest ever regret. We thats both my mrs and I have really regretted selling mine. You can just as easily live with a supra and a baby as most other cars. Every car you get has some disadvantage. Trust me we've been through the lot. Volvo's, range rover, discovery, rovers, golf estate, and others. We settled in the end on an aristo as we get TT power with a boot and 5 doors however we'd still rather a supra. If it wasn't for supra prices holding strong I would have been able to afford to buy back in. Preferably I'd like a black GZ aerotop but I'd never afford one hence my interest in your car. Congrats on the baby though chap. -

I've got 1 more week of nights after this week. If you still have it I'll come and see it and try to not convince myself that a new car is a good idea at the end of my contract lol.
