  1. Consider a retrim with alcantara centres instead of leather then you'll stay in your seat. I had a set of AAR semi-bucket seats in my 500bhp+ aristo and on sweeping 90+ bends on the circuit I slipped out and had to brace myself against the trans tunnel or the door to keep driving, I never had that issue with my re-trimmed alcantara centre seats and I drove that just as hard. The material of the seat makes a big difference to how you stay in it.
  2. Dude my best mate will almost definitely have these from you for sensible money. He's in Parkstone with a landrover so would collect. PM me if you haven't sold them.
  3. Oh happy birthday girl. Didn't know if you guys still hung in this gaff or not.
  4. Bear in mind that in Germany like alot of Europe the roads are not lined with horrendous hedges with tree's etc in them and looking at the field the rest place of that vehicle seems to be in then I would say that is the case here as well. Bearing that in mind ie he didn't hit anything other than the field itself I'd surmise that he was doing significantly more than 50 when he did that. the German polizei will think exactly the same and they don't take any sh*t so he'll probably be spending a very long time not driving if ever again lol. His dad will also have to be worrying about a massive fine as well if he hit a tree.
  5. I think that looks really really smart! Its a bit diddier than a supra but then sometimes I do think that the supra is a tad too large. A 2JZ-GTE in that motor would be the bomb and it looks dare I say it a tad more modern with those lights at the front end.
  6. Like I said the idle control valve sometimes sticks shut and doesn't motor to hold the correct idle rpm. Its an intermittent fault to start with which eventually fully breaks. Toyota should be able to diagnose that though.
  7. Be the idle control valve. Mine did it, kept sticking shut so the car would cut out.
  8. It would make me feel physically sick pulling an almost brand new car like that apart lol.
  9. Moi wagon! Looks like Jaarbeurs where the civic is parked? I'm liking the amount of windmills lol. There were virtually none where I lived in Woensdrecht but plenty the other side of the Moerdijk bridge.
  10. When you stop using AEM stuff mate. They really are dog poo! There is a hell of a lot of bad stuff being said about them across the world. I've had an EMS go on me, the only other person I know that has one installed has had major issues with his. Michel recently had bother with resistors on his FIC. Its cheaper than the other alternatives for a reason I guess. Pay cheaper pay twice. FWIW the AEM wideband that was fitted to my car started playing up shortly after I sold it.
  11. Yes but they don't because that costs money, alot of money and a big gasket doesn't. It is the method of choice for most kits coming out of yankland.
  12. Its well known for being vinyl my friend, very well known. The search is your friend. After all why would they put leather in the seats that shall in general never be seated upon and cloth under the driver? Thats by the by. If you want that sort of money for your car in here where people are very much aware of the value of these cars you really are going to have to extend the efforts you've made in your advertising technique.
  13. Can't say he is the best as I haven't tried all of the mappers in the UK but I can say that if I wanted mapping work done I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else as I would re-use RyanG
  14. I think my point is that most that go for a road single want big horses and more than 8 psi of boost. That in general requires the thicker headgasket which is why most NA-T kits you buy has a thicker head gasket included. That is why I said in general the head comes off to do an NA-T conversion (your race car is a point in kind and as such a one off really and in no way indicative of the general NA-T process). So if you have the head off and a TT head and the rest of the gubbins is available why lift the whole lump out and change it if you can drop a TT head and turbo's on is my question.
  15. There is not a single hint of cow anywhere in that car unless you stood in something fella For that price tag you really are going to have to do a significantly better advert chap.
  16. Car won't start with the efi electronic fuel ignition fuse pulled as it needs ignition to run mate
  17. £460 new at camskill dude! http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m61b4s333p0 http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m61b4s323p0
  18. Wow at the gun knowledge here and eeek how scary lol.
  19. Is there something amazing about this NA aerotop you aren't saying in the ad?
  20. How else are you going to fit the thicker head gasket you need to lower the compression ratio then?
  21. I got a couple of these and I can say that they do very well http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DVR-Sports-Video-Camera-Spy-Cam-Camera-Mini-DV-Black-UK-/220761644590?pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_Video_Camcorders&hash=item33666b5e2e heres a clubaristo thread about them http://clubaristo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=23279&highlight=mini+video+camera and a mk4 supra forum link http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?211352-Track-day-camera-for-%A317 I used mine at 100 leptons plus at night and I got alot of footage that was acceptable to view for the whole trip from inner city London to Bournemouth and half an hour afterwards when I forgot to switch it off.
  22. Does the bottom end determine the compression ratio or the head? If its the head and that's coming off anyway during an NA-T conversion why not strap a TT head on or is that not a option? A TT loom along with ignition system and ecu would then do away with the dissy and tuning issues?
  23. I pop in every now and again to start trouble
  24. Diff temp light on UK specs? Is that because they have such bigger more powerful turbos?
