Good post, but to put in perspective. The 2nd house im on about I've just exchanged this week so timing couldnt be worse, if I hadnt of found the houseI want to live in, i'd of probably just sold the first place to put with my current deposit. On plus side ive read its up to 50% depending on wage bracket...which brings it back down to the usual 20% (hopefully) so not too bad compared to 18%...if that is the case

I have a 2nd Home Ive been taking the pain on paying for it as well as the rent doesnt cover it, i was investing my money that way to make more money...thats my choice. The idea was to sell up in a few years and pay off nice chunk of my actual home mortgage meaning I didnt have a massive mortgage like what is required nowadays and me owing the banks ££££'s nope... instead the government will punish me for trying to make sure im able to have an easily life and take the money and still let me pay back the banks. This hits you more then just the 50% they will take its the 1000's in interest ill have to pay for the gains tax money they have taken instead of paying off my mortgage. 27 now and the last 6yrs of investment could have 3yrs worth in money terms wiped off of it.

I thought it was very normal on here to block pipes (when they require blocking) by putting a large screw in the tube and tightening it up so its secure? As for the damage to pulleys etc... when my tensioner broke it caused almost exactly same damage, crank pulley gone, pulleys damaged, cam belt shredded and jumped 4 teeth. That was on my NA though. Dont know bout rest of it, but least you can mvoe the car forward now

unlucky, same as my tyre went. You got a puncture didnt realise and driving on it ripped it to shreads. I did the same to my tyre just before starting ripping apart...the tyre was boiling when came to take the wheel off!!

Same here and its allowed me to actually get myself a home I want to live in.

My property the council fill with people on benefits. Luckily its a young lady with a child and she's very quiet and nice. I know this as my dad lives next door. I dont rent out direct through the council, I have a letting company who source residents and ask will you take on Council tennants. As for the above this is no longer the case. My house is on a normal mortgage with permission to let not a buy to let mortgage. With the credit crunch alot of mortgage companies have allowed people to let out their houses on their normal mortgages. (im with C&G) I had to get a copy of the permission to let letter for the mortgage for my new property.

Having said that DC said afterwards he was surprised how different it was from home and how we can see things that the commentators miss. I guess they are looking at timing screens as well and miss the action but sometimes I do think, you idiot shut up.
