  1. Im holding out to buy a ps3 for this game, if it ever comes out, least F1 will be out a year before this to keep me going
  2. I thought waves were caused partly by wind, but mainly by the volume of water out to see being pushed towards shore (I guess by currents) and as the sea bed rises so does the water creating a wave that will then break when the water tension can no longer hold its shape.
  3. when we did the supra racing on here, sometimes you didnt need to pull the hand brake...you were tapped sideways. hopefulyl we can get an F1 season going when it comes out, 12 player online
  4. I think the biggest difference is, the fact coal power stations turn over would drop, polluting far less. It is a good idea and obviously southern facing for most of the sun. the company is clever and it is for free, because they take back the extra you dont use as they dont put any storage inbetween. Because you cant store any within your home, during the summer hot sunny days, when we are working with minimal applicances on, they rake it in. You come home in evening and start to use whats avaliable. Clever company, clever idea and lucky people who get it if you dont mind about the contract part. Everyone saves money as sunlight is free. I signed up for another company to see if i was eligable, but i still had to pay £2000 I think but I got to keep the money i made from feeding back the grid.
  5. ok got ya. Maybe ive just never noticed it, im gonna keep an eye on my bill now, got unlimited txt not that it matters
  6. Not saying your wrong, im just interested now.... so if i send; a txt with smiley icon and 20 words...1 txt a txt with smiley icon and 80 words...2 txt a txt no smiley icon and 100 words...1 txt
  7. On the girlfriends iphone it didnt have japense characters enabled I know because I hadnt done it? or installed the app. Also I use icons in most of messages to gf and on my bill Ive never seen one where it says ive used 3 messages in one go.....I try to not txt her much why you think that is?? I also use an app on iphone which gives me a count of characters to use and if i put sad face the count drops by 3?!?!? Matt - copying you so you see the usfull stuff
  8. I know the answer to this. if you send an emoji, it is made up of charaters : - ) for instance. Each character uses a character in the txt message up. When i set up my emoji on my iphone i was sending it to my gf iphone who didnt have it setup and it took 3 or so txt characters up. So depends on the emoji how many it uses. So if you have 2 characters left in a message before rolling on to number 2 txt message sending a smiley face will mean it rolls over on to the 2nd text message (i.e a 2 txt message charge if you pay for them), hope that makes sense.
  9. If it helps if your thinking postage, I posted 2 with post office and cost me £18. Dont know the weight though, sorry!
  10. you put this We took her out for a test drive make sure everything is spot on and it was, boosting perfectly. I was so happy. So the turbo's were working fine at first when installed?? So you received them working? did you then just fit 2 decat pipes to them? what boost level were you running and how were you controlling it? And dont worry its just a couple of turbo's...get them off again (pain in bum) and take a look, it may be your quickest answer if you have a rattle, you may find it something else thats broken and rattling.
  11. just seen the old one I posted in this thread from a year and half ago...how time flies!!
  12. I dont know who you work for...but try the cycle to work Scheme. the bike shop may accept it (ask them) it use to be limited to halfords. You effectively buy the bike from your wages before Tax. I got £700 voucher and ended up paying back about £400 odd i think.
  13. i had exactly same happen to me. It had been 2 yrs since got rid of the car so i had no proof of sale. If i had proof of sale then I wouldnt of had to pay the fine, so I had to pay the fine
  14. Right call for the team, just done in the worst way possible, the best reason to use is a warning of you need to save Fuel alonso doesnt try and save where you can. We all know these cars are short fuelled so would of been seen as normal racing. However it did drop a potentially very good battle. Massa was slowing Alonso into Vettel, who was catching it could of turned into a 3 way battle for the lead.
  15. Not much difference to what Rik did, apart from Rik built a shelter as well. I have to say his car was different and didnt look bad, unforunatly it never did get the test of time. RIP Rik. I hope you have as good a result, and people who push the boundaries are the ones who create new inventions or find better ways of doing things. If it comes off your a Genuis and others will copy. If it doesnt you'll be labelled an idiot. The point is the people who invented things in this world had loads of people call them these things before they invented or did something useful. An example is someone taking a dirty old engine and making a coffee table out of it, bet the first time it was done the person was told they were an idiot. Now you pay a high cost for that type of coffee table.
  16. I can see the Sky bosses.... Our iphone app hasnt sold well only a few thousand.... I know we will give it away for free for 6 months till end of year and then automatically subscribe them at a cost afterwards. They will of forgotten about the app...even maybe got rid of the phone and forgotten to unsubscribe, now we have 300,000 people paying for least 1 month and probably 2 with our 30 day notification. Clever Sky
  17. I have wireless access list turned off. It is a bug with the version i've put on im sure of it. As by turning off all wireless security it connects fine. Just after a lower firmware to flash to resolve it.
  18. Loads of stuff to be honest its hard to narrow it down (im afraid alot geeky); most usefull stuff; Lower your SNR - most ISP's require an SNR of 6db, to give you a very stable connection without them getting lots of phone calls. Its well known 3db could infact give you a stable connection on alot of lines. So I lowered mine from 6db - 3.2db. My broadband sync speed went from 4.8mb to 6.5mb so I get an extra 2mb download speed and no line problems. You can lower it a few percent at a time, so you can go 5db, 4.6db etc... Other is you can turn the router into a wireless repeater which is usefull in big houses with no wiring to allow you to cover a wider range by linking to a 2nd wireless station.
  19. its the Dgteam custom firmware mate so not offical firmware. Im after their version 1012 (latest version is 1018) but the site take down old ones immediately so cant find it
  20. Finally got a Netgear DG834GT box off fleabay as the o2 wireless box they send is the most useless......anyway I flashed with the latest version of DGteam 1018 and the wireless is useless on it (will only work without encryption...usefull ) Im after 1012 for the DG834GT but i cant find anywhere, anyone have any links or even a copy would be good. cheers On plus side it gave me an extra 2mb on the line speed and havent even played withe SNR yet
  21. I think we had a spit of rain the other day but other then that its been hot today with some cloud and sun.
  22. Im also interested in exactly the same as you. 5.1 stereo surround sound (no bluray player) with optical Audio In connector. bonus is wireless rear speakers
  23. I once got asked did I go to Uni...no what A levels you got... and with that she went uhhhuhhh and walked off. I tried to hunt that girl down all night after that I wanted to know the point of the conversation, problem was I couldnt remember what she looked like!
  24. Got to say love what he's done to it. If I had kept it, white was my next colour to go to. He's added some bits to it as well. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1868063.htm
