  1. I've watched it and it was the wrong time time to protest what they believe in. However they were peacefull...police stepped in and they moved back with no violance at all. Look at the british...good old get your fists out. They should be ashamed of the time they chose to protest We should be ashamed of our language, attitude and violent behaviour. The police were doing their job and the british were accusing them of being on their side. There was no winner in that video.

  16. Who cares who did it, lets clear it up, but now after seeing the size of the spread I can understand why it is taking BP months to clear this up. Also I totally understand why they have been failing to stop this quickly. the valve's they had (the technology) in place for these events partially failed. The backups tested at those depths failed so they had to try otehr stuff quickly and the depths and pressure are causing other failures. Unfortunatly as with everything someone has to go first for the rest of us to learn. * Nuclear meltdown at a power plant * Fire that rages across a city (great fire of london) People then learn from this to try and stop it happening again. They had learnt from previous leaks by having these stop valaves...they partially failed. So next time they will know if this happens not to try putting a lid over the top or pumping mud into it, but will instead try to cap it straight away. Its not nice and its not pretty whats happening, but with the size of it, its gonna be little by little im afraid.
  17. It depends on your contract, being on call i'm sure doesnt effect you having to be in for your working shift. As the 11 hour rest period is between your hours of work...i.e a 7hour day. I do exactly the same on call as you. mon - fri 5pm - 9am sat & sunday whole time and i expect there is alot of companies that do it as well, so i doubt it breaks any laws im afraid.
  18. Well it will be more interesting if he still reads the forum. I personally wouldnt be offended or think it was rude if someone asked me if they their new partner could stay. However I would expect them not to be offended when I said no as only just met the person.

  23. yep your right, mine failed on the ball joint....unfortunatly you cant buy it seperate from the arm....you have to buy the whole peice (although yours are corroded in this case so makes no difference). I got mine for £240 so £220 is good. I wouldnt be going for 2nd hand when next year the rubber in the joints could go and you'll have to get another pair again.
  24. This area is a bit of nightmare for support / garages. I live in Poole and work in ringwood. I had work done on my car by Triton over at hurn airport and so do alot of the guys on here. Some of their work was very good but some not so good but they did manage to swap over my turbo's and put all back together when my 2nd turbo blew.
