  1. I'm planning on being there, providing the weather is nice!
  2. Yep, I've seen those too. I'm going to be ordering a set soon [emoji6]
  3. I think that for a cast iron block to warp, you'd be doing well [emoji23] But always best to err on the side of caution, as it's definitely something you don't want to do twice [emoji106]
  4. Simon, if you upload the pics straight off your phone through Tapatalk, it works perfectly [emoji106]
  5. Pretty sure the blocks are cast iron, and you'd always want to check it for flatness, to make sure it doesn't need decking. I wouldn't just skim the head and chuck a new gasket on, without being sure that both mating surfaces were dead flat
  6. Mk4Gaz

    Chrome plating.

I want to know too, got a few bits I want done!
  7. A few of us couldn't make it this month, and I think I read on Facebook that the normal car park we use was closed. Shame, but there's a lot of bellends who meet in the same car park, who do burnouts and generally drive around like dicks in there.
  8. There's a few of us between Romford and Southend that may be up for a mini meet. Maybe a pub lunch somewhere?
  9. Mine was suffering for ages with this Gaz, and it turned out to be two tiny boost leaks from vacuum hoses. One from the wastegate hose, and one from around the fpr.
  10. Speak to Lee at srd tuning [emoji106]
  11. Hi mate, have you checked for ecu error codes? Mine was simply a dodgy wire on the 3 pin plug, randomly making and breaking connection. Happy to report that I've not had any issues since fitting a new plug all those years ago.
  12. Thanks mate, the design does need to be tweaked slightly, which I'll do once I've fitted mine. The original prototype I moulded was given to me, and I was told it fitted. Unfortunately I didn't get time to test it, but it's an easy fix. Any new ones will come with this modification already done
  13. Correct, factory 202 astral black, and 040 white are solid colour and not clear over base. All the other colours are base/clear
  14. Now you see why we all love the auto, and why I changed back [emoji23] Well done mate, it's a credit to you
  15. I'd be interested in the carpet, but collection would be tricky as I'm always flat out!
  16. As Chris says, the guys name is Jay. I've been talking to him on Instagram
  17. I replaced mine last summer with a genuine one, and didn't remove the screen
  18. Yes, but it's a pig to do. Fitting the new one is even worse with the glass in, but it can be done
  19. I'll take the manual gear surround trim please. Let me know a total price with postage via pm [emoji106]
