  1. Should be Friday 1st November, and 6th December [emoji1303]
  2. No it won't run properly. The blitz ecu is designed to be used with jspec 440cc injectors. Also the 550cc injectors are uk spec and are low impedance, whereas the jspec 440cc are high impedance.
  3. Circa 20:00, house of fraser car park, middle level, 1st Friday of every month [emoji1303]
  4. Unfortunately anything like this is going to be very labour intensive, and ultimately cost a fortune. I could do it, but simply wouldn't have the time to devote to such a large project. I'm currently working on a few new supra parts that will be released soon, and along with everything else, I'm flat out. The most difficult part is the door recess. I don't know if that would affect the operation of the drop glass. The rest is fairly straight forward fabrication with composites.
  5. Great bit of kit, glws [emoji1303] Here's mine
  6. Just normal m6 stainless washers.
  7. We did consider cutting across on the a128, but figured every other sod was probably doing the same [emoji23]
  8. We were halfway there when little Bailey called us to warn us. Ended up having a pint and burger locally! Roll on November and hope for decent weather [emoji1303]
  9. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1526448280943561/ Gutted about missing Fridays meet, but the m25 was mullered. Hopefully next month is better [emoji1303]
  10. Most of us tend to arrive between 19:30 - 20:00. Then head in for dinner shortly after
  11. I've never used these washers on my cam covers. Just don't try to tighten the bolts like a gorilla. There's enough squish in the cam cover gasket to tighten sufficiently
  12. If you can source a hks fcon gold wiring harness, another option is the link g4+ kurofune, which becomes plug and play on an auto, leaving the oem ecu in place to take care of the transmission changes.
  13. Maybe, but it's odd how it was confirmed verbally over the phone prior to buying the registration, then I had no trouble getting it all swapped over at my local dvla office in Chelmsford.
  14. That's odd then, because I perso ally did it with my mr2! Maybe I got lucky, but my log book said: Year of manufacture 1991 Year of first registration in UK 1998 The original reg was: H96 RKG Changed to: N11 GME
  15. If the date of first registration on your logbook is 1994, I think you're out of luck. I thought 94 was L/M reg, 95 M/N, 96 N/P,
  16. I can't verify that, but I can say that I had no issues with what I did
  17. Hi matey, I did yes. I saw the plate online and called dvla to check whether I could use it prior to purchasing. They told me that the prefix is based on the first registration date in the uk, meaning on a '91 manufactured vehicle, I could have a plate up to' 98 (S reg I believe) as that was the date of first registration in the uk. I bought the reg, and took the documents to the local dvla centre, and walked out with an 'N' reg mr2 [emoji16]
  18. I have one spare. Not sure what they're worth, but if you want to make me a fair offer for it?
  19. I had my current plate (N11GME) on my 1991 rev1 mr2 turbo. Because it was imported in 1998, the date of first registration in the uk meant I could choose a plate up to that date, despite the vehicle being older. I spoke to the dvla to check before buying my plate, and went to the local dvla office to sort the transfer out after purchasing it.
  20. Your tuner shouldn't be pushing anything with whatever you've asked for, he should be monitoring temps, knock, fuelling etc etc, and set everything at the correct levels for the highest gain, but keeping it within normal operating limits. Mark Dance (Pulley) achieved great gains with his custom free flowing setup, but you'll never see anywhere near the same power on stock twins, as you will with a decent single setup. That being said, the way the twins deliver power is not to be sniffed at. I actually miss mine at bpu sometimes, as the car was a pleasure to drive. I went single to simplify everything, as I knew that 20 year old components would eventually fail. You've also got to factor in the auto transmission. If you want to push past bpu, I would strongly advise you shim the box, run an additional cooler with a thermostatic switch, and do a full flush and fluid change.
  21. Hi guys, I don't suppose anyone has a spare facelift dash panel I could borrow for a few days? I want to see if I can get my local paint supplier to match the colour of the facelift grey. Obviously happy to pay postage both ways, and I won't run off with it - I promise [emoji23] If anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it
  22. This makes me want to cry [emoji23]
  23. I saw that one, but I'm not sure it's correct? The part number I think is: 51201-24030
