  1. Unfortunately they've pretty much given up on the forum plugins instead wanting owners to used their paid platform. On a forum I look after for a client there are a few issues I keep reporting to them and they fall on deaf ears. Fed up of handling their rubbish.
  2. I'm going to 7 day ban the next person that says it was the best yet.
  3. I asked and they'd love to meet up, shame you can't make it. Best thing is to checkout the routes and schedule from here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?348599-Dragonball-2018-Caen-The-Routes&highlight=routes (Members only section) Choose one suitable and get there slightly early, then expect them to be slightly late. The schedules are kept to as closely as possible.
  4. It's not a huge PITA. There's a zip all the way around at floor level. It easier if there's two of you an no wind when putting it over the car, but it's not a big deal for one either. I just prefer not to drag it over the paint if I can avoid it. It helps if you can store the thing easily somewhere without having to fold it up too much whilst you're out in the car. Mine fits fine in the garage with the Tiger. The base slides under the car, the top next to it. I should add that I rarely go out in the Supra nowadays which is maybe why I find it easy to live with, but I do regularly uncover it to do the odd job, start it up etc. Yes it looks very obvious outside the house, but we live in a quiet cul-de-sac and it's stepped back out view of the neighbours. It is fairly large when it's puffed out as you'd expect. I guess it does look odd to anyone that happens to visit. Not sure how I'd feel about it if I lived in a busy town - I suspect some to$$er would slash it for kicks depending where you live. I use one of those intelligent chargers on mine, not the one that it comes with so can't vouch for that, but the two fans work away quietly on the PSU by roll up extension lead. It's in front of the garage so comes out under the garage door. The power sits inside the Carcoon so it's not in the elements.
  5. Yep. It's been up since around August and I've been very impressed with it. Aside from the snow collapsing it as you'd expect. It's relatively sheltered away from wind where it is so I've not had concerns in storms. I sprayed UV protector (designed for boats) the other day as it will get sun bleached eventually and this should help prevent that. The car looks great every time I take it out.
  6. I suspect you won't even be allowed to bid without placing a sizeable deposit.
  7. Retrimmed Recaro's aren't they?
  8. We don't make people sign things, just throw them overboard with concrete boots.
  9. Another vote for the 1959 Maserati 3500GT. 1957 Merc 190SL 1965 Lamborghini Tractor 1R Not interested in the rest of 'em. Full catalogue here: https://issuu.com/coys-auctions/docs/a295_issuu
  10. Nice! Shame they put the steering wheel on the wrong side.
  11. A bit like "Stormy" Daniels - they probably figure they can make more money in publicity that will dwarf the penalty fine. Nobody has any ethics these days. Money, money, money money!
  12. Couple of issues that made it worse for him. 1) He was giving the finger. 2) He lied about the whereabouts of the car to try and remove the device first. If he'd just fessed up it wouldn't have been so bad I reckon. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/range-rover-driver-8-months-jail-laser-jammer/
  13. Wouldn't be worth the cost IMHO. That inner side on the missing quarter looks like a disaster.
  14. Tricky one. If you're going facelift then you'll need to change the sidelights too of course which means hacking into or buying the correct wiring loom for the sidelights. I reckon for the worth of the facelifts I'd stick with the original ones personally. Original is best nowadays IMHO. Mind you, no harm in keeping yours in the shed and being able to transfer back come sale time. It keeps them out of the UV and stone chips too!
  15. There's a test board replacement app running which we have played with and like, but need to run a live data migration then understand everything that's broken, what we can live without etc. A lot of work and slow progress I'm afraid.
  16. Why the different part number then I wonder?

    A solid performance, well done!
