  1. Read here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35920-How-To-Check-the-diagnostics-codes
  2. Would be worth clearing fault codes and then see if any come back.
  3. I was bored so read the whole thing at my own intellectual expense !! After recovering things to note are he says no expense spared, it's a proper built car and it's been done properly but he's hasn't touched the block at all other than new gaskets. Surely if this was a built no expense spared car he'd have spent some money on the engine internals to cope with the extra boost and bhp. Apart from that it's sounds a nice car but in my opinion not worth £25,000 with a standard engine and a BMW box.
  4. Don't bump less than a day after posting please and don't do it daily either.

    Flights

Did the same with our flights to Florida as we booked over a year in advance the times changed three times !!
  6. I think it would be better to make a custom enclosure for the subs that will fit rather than dismantling the car to make it fit.
  7. Have you ever gone into a cruise liners engine room without ear defenders ? A double decat n/a is louder

    Club Insurer?

So do different brokers get different discounts or reduced premiums from the same insurer ? I ask because Lancaster have for the past couple of years given me a cheaper quote from markerstudy than sky even though it's the same insurer.

    Club Insurer?

Renewing with Lancaster again this year same price as last year at £200 with agreed value but I don't expect it to drop much anymore with it being so low now. I was with sky insured by markerstudy but the renewal price went up even after negotiation I then found Lancaster and got insured with marker study via them for a third of the price !! You couldn't make this stuff up
  10. Looked better when it was lower
  11. Main fuse check first post has been amended.
  12. Agree with Shawn on this 100% a manual is a waste in the states as places are so far apart that you would rarely change gear anyway and crawling in traffic on the interstate with a manual would be like some form of chinese torture.
  13. Trust me it's best decision you'll make. Properly working A/C and cooled seats are a must for some of the places on your trip !! I had to fire it up and put the cooled seats on every morning so I didn't fuse with the seat
  14. I drove a brand new mustang last year Dean and it is the perfect cruiser as it's so easy to drive and park even though it is quite a large car. Plus it makes the most beautiful noises when you put everything in sport mode and the pops and bangs on the over run made me grin like a kid I did Orlando to Miami then back and I always get a bad back but didn't in the stang. Did a few other long trips and it just munches up the miles.
  15. That used to belong to a guy called Chris Kinsey, it's not done a lot of mileage in past few years. Back in 2014 it had done 19500.
  16. That hurt man ... like real deep But Abz already bought that one
  17. It's an investment really though as it's very unlikely to lose money.

    Daily Supras

I don't daily mine as I wouldn't want to park it at work as I work in a supermarket. Every daily I've had has earned battle scars in the car park from door dents to hand bag scratches all the way up to physically being run into and removing all the paint. Never had an admittance of guilt on any of the damage so I am more than happy to pay to run two cars for this reason.

    Supra fire

The best thing would to have a proper regulation extinguisher kit plumbed in under the bonnet where you press a button and it saturates the bay and smothers the fire. I've been watching videos of these new extinguisher grenades that the fire department are trialling they are incredibly effective and make you feel like your in call of duty
  21. The new tax change will only affect new cars but it's not inconceivable to think older cars will experience a small increase too.
