    Earlier this year. He said he was too well versed in the task to give me a fixed price. He listed all the things that would most likely need doing if he opened up a 20+ year old engine and then said a reconditioned head would be a better option.

    How much for your uk one ? Have you test it to see if it actually works ?

    When I spoke to Chris about it he said if you don't want the rope trick and want a head off job it's cheaper to get a reconditioned head.

    16k is right at the bottom of the scale for a tt6 but will get you a very nice auto. Are you going for big power ? If not then I'd seriously consider an auto

    No man hole covers either, couldn't see any spills, dry road, there were no skids marks and they didn't even attempt to brake at any point of the crash.

    As above something failed but if you watch the slo mo footage it is something at the rear that gives out as it kicks the back end out violently to the right. At first I thought it was driver error as it appears to be oversteer but it seems such an odd place as he is pretty much going straight at that point as it's a slight bend there

    They will most likely try and sell it claw back some of the cost. Might powder coat it and flog it, who knows ? Or maybe they are just being awkward ...
