  1. My bonnet had the alu bubbling in one corner and my roof has some small spots. Its the science of aluminium, when moisture gets to it, it forms a corroded surface to further protect itself. Really weird stuff.
  2. I think your bootlid has the optional supra emblem to. Looks much larger with the surround on it. Some thin wire will get it off in 1 peice
  3. Everyone upgrades to braided lines, much cheaper and stronger. OEM Toyota are well expensive and a 2 week wait from Japan as i remember https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Supra-JZA80-1993-2002-Zinc-Plated-Goodridge-Brake-Hoses-STY1004-4P/162568068397?hash=item25d9cfdd2d:g:2NIAAOSwyQtV1x7t
  4. I have categories Materials & tools Reciept & non reciept parts Mechanic work I dont tracket fuel, mot or tax. However i could add tax and mot to the list but those are recorded from past documents. I also print the online reciepts for tax and staple it to my reminder forms to. But dont count the cost.
  5. I keep all reciepts, paypal transaction printouts, ebay printouts and always staple my printed recipets to the a4 copy along with any import documents. Have done since 2013 and i got quite a pile Ive also kept track of every single thing i do to the car...whats been done and dated..1 file for each year. I also have a a3 scrapbook and print and add my photos at the end if each year
  6. Your a brave man putting a used water pump on. Or even buying one

    Carpet

Cheers Keron but it went to Dubai last week
  8. Id do the brake and fuel lines in clear waxoyl so youll see any corrosion if they start going, never been to sure on bushes but id imagine not as they coating may have petroleum and that will kill the bushes. Diff casing...dont see why not? Subframe you can do you and control arms if you wanted to.. avoiding the bushes and dust covers
  9. I got a dual rectangle shaped one of ebay for less than 5.00, white LEDs, 2 pin. Easy to wire up. You can see mine illuminated above the right dash vent near the upper glove box. https://s26.postimg.cc/ln2sstmuh/20180216_025209.jpg
  10. Man this sale reaks of regret. What a beauty of a supra mate. Shame your letting it go
  11. People and their antics
  12. Awaiting to hear results as my automatic tensioner went and n made a totally different sound. I used a gates one for like 80 quid
  13. I removed my igniter bracket to paint and the car wouldnt fire up. Refitted with split washers and all good. Worth a check
  14. 1st post updated with Postage prices
  15. Id get 2 new facelift looms, use the rear fog conversion on here and make a new clean loom. Those tap clips things are just so wrong. Especially for rear lights where the wiring is basically subject to the elements
  16. I had to leave Sky a while back, their prices started low then rocketed. Great business techniques.
  17. My recommendations are Xtrons, had them for years well priced units
  18. I uploaded this just for you, my 2JZ-GE had the same noise, was told by DavidP it was the crank pulley, had it done at a garage and the noise went. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jtl_mN9oMUA&feature=youtu.be

    Rust!

Welding job for sure. You cab get the repalcement panel. Keron sells new ones. Off to a bodyshop to cut and drill the old panel off and spot weld the new one in. If its not done that way its a botch not using the oem toyota panel or a made up patch to weld in.
  20. I had something like this, davidp knew the noise and i had the crank pulley tightened and it sorted it.
  21. Hi all, recently ive been bothered about how much Supra parts have gone up in value, and to be honest compared to other cars out there its all nuts. Lately ive been thinking about repairing and rebuilding parts as opposed to just replacing them. I came across this video for seatbelts and im kinda hoping someone has a knackered seatbelt they could use to give this a go, and do a write up? or if anyone out there is willing to give me a knackered one to have a go at and do a write up on? Kev
