  1. I may be wrong, but i seem to remember seeing a manual gearbox with vacuum lines or similar? perhaps ones loose or damaged?
  2. Im going to be redoing my engine bay heater hoses at the rear of the engine, and while im at it, i want to fit a bleed valve to one of the hoses. Just a nice little touch to make life somewhat more simple, What i dont know is....do i fit it to the Inlet or Outlet hose? https://s26.postimg.cc/eegp11ft5/DIAGRAM.png https://s26.postimg.cc/ucper62bd/s-l500.jpg cheers, Kev
  3. Diamond cut or painted? There were 2 finishes. The painted ones are fairly available from breakers yards with gs300s. Havnt seen the diamond cut ones around anywhere for years.
  4. But from what hes said it has been a fair time for any rust to start inside, thus rusty water in the system. Im fairly sure a head gasket change, oil and coolant change may not cut this one in the long run. And if its gotten that hot to blow the head gasket id be worrying more about cracks to the head.
  5. Apart from the obvious that coolant and oil has mixed. Rusty water vapour coming out the exhaust usually means internal terminal damage. Wish is it wasnt true in this case mate
  6. Sorry to hear what your going through mate
  7. Wow. Thats a deal. If i had 1k spare id of taken it for sure

    Seat

Yea its a common fault. They wind out and make the motor go all funny. On the tunnel side of the seat. Need to refit it mate
  9. That really is a gem to keep until old age. I hope to be where your at one day. Youve come a long way ric, i remember the silver one well with those axis wheels and i sold you some oem skirts that were cut and rejoined years back. Kev
  10. Got this UK spec clock with out-temp feature, the digital screen has had it. Id imagine you could solder in another screen from a bog standard j-spec if you really wanted to get it going. Also has the loom trimming for a baltic blue UK spec. https://s26.postimg.cc/epq5a4mft/Untitledclock.png 45 delivered.
  11. Whats the gap like on the roof to chassis?
  12. Awesome! Keep the washers. Original to the car. Or i can buy them off you and fit them to mine
  13. Leaking condenser. Check the undertray for green oil. If its using r1234yf the pressure tests arnt strong enough to test. The real test is when the system is powered on by the car itself.
  14. Agreed. Its now a sport compact and personally have 0% interest in this 'car'
  15. Guigsys single turbo had this to...not being used. Vacuum lines.
  16. Vaccum line somewhere? to me id say thats an air leak, dont see how the throttle body can 'leak' unless its worn and sucks too much air in at idle resulting in higher idle.
  17. If its a high pitched noise itll be a loose hose?
  18. Anything OEM untouched will make the us fanboys cream.
