  1. Its more complex than you think if your asking the question like that. Many parts to get to make a reliable supra. Bolt on kits seem great but its more than that usually for it to work properly
  2. Nice, thats what i had made but not from HEL, Mike gave me the dimensions and mines being made
  3. Nice one chaps got one sorted By any chance do you guys have pictures of one fitted and how it was secured? Im thinking maybe P-clips?
  4. Nice one Mike thats what i wanted to hear
  5. So when i do my manual conversion i was going to get a braided clutch line instead of the hardpipes and discontinued brackets. Thought id ask for opinions from people who actually use them, any cons with them? Does the pedal feel any different? Going to be fitted to a daily driver Cheers
  6. You cant do it. Refurbished or not it relates to how many miles the car has travelled in its life since new. You cant have 20 years worth of mots recording the miles and then of a sudden it re starts from 0 just becuse it had a refresh, its the same shell/ chassis. Legally it would be classed as clocking or tampering.
  7. What well priced plug and play ECUS are out there for NA manuals? Im converting my NA auto over to manual and im staying away from 20+ year old original ECUs. Cheers
  8. Ebay. I used zinc coated self tappers with a larger washers for VWs These should suit your needs. Id get some new plastic horseshoe clips while your at it to take the new screws

  11. I use felt tape where panels can move and rub against each other. The dash panels are worst for it. I suffered the rear speaker panels doing it and the rear seatbelt trim. Felt tape on ebay...
  12. I forgot about this, will check pms and get some quotes

  15. Tt auto or manual? If its a tt auto dosent the ecu have pins for each coil? And the amount of auto ecus failing recently id suspect that to

  17. Decent tyres and a wheel alignment first. Then look into oem shocks & springs, kayaba or bilsteins. If its not better by then, id look into bushes on the control arms and subframes
  18. That is not a car you want to sell. New memories need to be made with it mate!!
  19. I would do all the waxoyl after its done in the booth like the painter said. Once the 2k epoxy is on the bare metal your fine
  20. 4 nuts in the roof. Take a look at the nuts they have a snall sleeve on them that gives the boot one position to sit in
  21. Remove the self centering nuts and use normal nuts
  22. Great news. Are the pumps the same for NA and TTs?
  23. Brass wire wheel attachments for drills take the rust away very easily leaving you with 90% clean metal id say. Any tiny pits left over use a rust converter lile bilthamber. Thats usually where people stop. It does convert the rust but left to the elements rust will appear again. So coat it with a 2k epoxy. And then you can use waxoyl over it. Waxoyl over bare metal is pretty much a waste of time. It helps repel the elements but its not 100% protective
  24. Small blow torch, staples/ wire mesh and urethane welding rods to do it properly
