    Intake pipe

So i was looking at these hose barbs. If i could get the elbow pipe to replace the oem plastic peice i could drill and tap a hole to thread the barb into for the valve cover pipe to clip onto

    Intake pipe

So i came across this 1jz intake. The AN fitting on the pipe would do the job for the outlet for the valve cover hose to connect to. But dont know what type of an fitting it is, threaded etc?
  4. Grab a spare ecu and keep it in a anti static bag. Best you can do for now
  5. The ECUs go bad with age, electronics and leaking capacitors that are not designed to last, its their nature as they are filled with a liquid. Chips will go bad to. And being left outside in a car over time and many different weather conditions wont help electronics. The Supra community needs someone who can actually do electronic repairs with garuntee, theres a few on social media who have the gift of the gab and nothing but bad reviews. I myself spoke to them and they just seemed to want the parts and payment with a whole load of chat. Someone out there must be able to make the boards of a early 90s Toyota ECU
  6. Good man, will you be looking into to doing the other rear ams and strut rods to?
  7. Anyone got the whole or front prop section from a Soarer JZZ30 1JZGTE R154 Manual that has the slip yoke on it and is approx 50mm longer than the NA auto front prop section? Cheers
  8. Finally someone on the forums doing this. Need this guy as a hobbyist/ trader

    Intake pipe

Silicone peice you can get from Stoney racing in the UK for thr 2JZ GE. The metal part, id also like to know. What diameter, what degree bend. And most important it must have a pipe welded to it for the crank case hose to dump into the intake like oem. Unless theres some type of screw in pipe/ grommet so we can tap into the metal pipe to hold the small crank case pipe without welding.
  10. Id recommened sticking witb KYBs for a daily. Cheap enough to replace when needed and are oem alternatives. Or you can get the bilstein oem alternatives. Personally id stick with KYB

  14. Take the thermostat out and see if its stuck using 1 boiling cup of water and 1 cup of cold water. I THINK tbe hot water will open it and the cold will close it. Edit, seen you did the thermostat. Did you fit it the right way around?
  15. Thanks for the replys guys, pulling the engine isnt goint to be an option even though it would make life so easy as i plan on doing the main seals while the car is stripped. Wood stand seem like the way to go with the gravel drive and my mate should have a high reach jack to lift it up

  18. So im going to be removing my autobox, but itll be done at home. Id like to have a car raised safely for a few days and would prefer it to be on the gravel driveway. Ive been looking at getting 4 ramps but not sure if they will be high enough for the box to come out under the car. Ive also been looking at 4, 12 tonne axle stands (big ones!) But wouldnt be happy with axle stands on the gravel drive. Any suggestions to have the car safely raised on all fours on the gravel drive way and high enough to remove the box and to get under the car to convert the tunnel? Anyone ever made some safe wood stands for the wheels? Cheers, i attached a picture of the ramps i saw
