  1. That's a decent time mate, definitely a ten in there with that terminal. Good to see the car running today, that engine bay is something else!

  3. I also have some of Dane's mats and the fitment is great and you can choose your own colours and logo's. I myself have the optional heelmat. Very happy with them.
  4. It's not my cuppa, but I saw it and thought I'd share. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&persist_app=1&v=7ZJpLkEfJSg
  5. Never had a private plate before, what's the deal, can I just get anything I want? Be going for a 4/5 letter plate Currently got a 'M' reg 1995 jspec.
  6. Not the greatest audio quality but it's watchable if you want to see what happens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&persist_app=1&v=uppxaaPXYhg
  7. Cool, I will try and get there by 0830, any entry costs? I may be able to come for your drive around the day before, time permitting!
  8. Well my family home is in Penzance so I'd stay there with my family as I don't see them too often. Is it in Helston or stithians?
  9. I am from Cornwall mate, I lived in Helston for a couple of years, so I know the area fairly well.
  10. What's the deal with this, can we just show up on the day, and where exactly is it?
  11. Well it can only be a tribute, not a replica. Why not wait and buy an aero top before throwing ££ at it.
  12. If this is the same car, I can tell you that (from what the previous owner told me) It was at jps for a rebuild to the engine (cannot remember internals) and it was at tein in Milton Keynes to have the suspension set up. It all sounds correct, however, the current owner seems to be writing the advert as though he's done this...he hasn't. I bought a bonnet from the previous owner, and he delivered it in this supra (it does fit, I can assure you lol) and that can't have been anymore than four months ago, so I'd be asking why he's selling so soon. Probably worth a look? Old sale advert http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?315621-94-Single-Turbo-6-speed-manual-road-track-car-%A314000-(Dorset)
  13. I have seen the car in person when it was green, the bodywork wasn't great but the owner was. It was a track car and he had spent the cash necessary to drive to and from the nurburgring and do some crazy laps.

  15. Bonnet staying firmly shut around you seen this a few times and its even better in person.
  16. Saw this car only last Tuesday, what a terrible shame! But as everyone else has said, so glad the they made it out okay and the cage did it's job.
  17. The most ive seen people run on stock archs with a heavy roll is 11.5" but that will get the 315 tyre you want. Why not save a little longer or buy a good set of second hand wheels if budget is an issue, can't really understand why you would want Rota's on your car.
  18. I see around 8 bar on full throttle also.
  19. I dont drive mine about in the rain, im sure i could pop some corrosion preventative on any threads too. Got any spring rate ideas for my to go back to them with though Chris;)?
  20. Id quite like the adjustability. I will say now that i dont find the teins (which are almost precisely the same springrate ) to be uncomfortable. What rates might you recommend Chris? I suppose i could change.out the springs if im not happy anyway.
  21. Hi all, just looking for some real world opinions of nitrons on supra's, namely the R1 versions. What do people think of their performance and comfort on the street? I have enquired and been told spring rates would be roughly 14.3kg (800ish ft/lbs) and 8.5kg (475 Ft/lbs), which is just slightly stiffer than the tein flex i currently have. So any one help? Cheers.
  22. Am I missing something, I thought the point of having vvti was for the cam, and I can only see a normal spark cover. Perhaps I'm looking at a different supra. Makes an interesting read, I'll consider a vvti engine.
