  1. Ofcourse the kit is different, its not a twin wastegate, divided turbo manifold with a billet collector and fancy welds is it now . But im sure it will be great with a modern turbo on
  2. There have been threads in recent of people buying old tech and expecting performances to match their 2015 equivalent - Don't do it to yourself, buy decent turbo kit, new or second hand and plonk a new 6266 or garett on there.
  3. Ahh I see. Do all the TRD model wheels fit the supra, or must it be supra only?
  4. Doesnt make sense though, why buy a $200 voucher on ebay to then go on their site and buy the steering wheel which they as selling for $1299?
  5. I saw Hong Kong, and that was enough for me hehe. Still looking guys, Xmas is coming, think of all the single malt whisky you can buy with my monies
  6. I have been looking for a while and haven't seen one since the previous sold through this very forum. What are you typing in the search Dnk, i cant find any.
  7. As above, what have you got? Black with red stitching wanted, must be in good knick like the one that was sold fairly recently. Cheers.
  8. I have only ever heard people say the Giken clutches are horrendous on anything but full throttle, high revs. Town driving requires revs to pull away, an 'on or off' bite and stiff operation ?
  9. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?328191-Bargain-much-cheapness!
  10. Next weeks show looks awesome, Domestic vs Import !
  11. Nah Kaan couldnt build boost to launch hard off the line, he would need a bigger high stall or trans brake, then the results would be similar. Its not skill related, but all car setup. Hence me suggesting to the OP he might well ask whats its like having that much power and being auto.
  12. Manual because you enjoy driving and it is best. You should probably ask Jamesy or kaan what they think of running 800+ bhp through an auto and what it is like to live and drive with a 3800 high stall converter.
  13. Letting a child eat an undying ammonium hydroxide burger from old Mcdonalds genetic / chemical farm is borderline child cruelty in my opinion. Plenty of queer morals and ethics involved in fast food production.
  14. Welcome Kieran. You're budget is okay but it wont get you a six speed twin turbo, only an auto TT for that money. If you can get another 2k together then possibly you too could be living the dream. As you don't seem to have much knowledge on the MKiV Supra i suggest you check the forum front page, there is downloadable content in the form of a model differences chart and a buyers guide which is a good start, goodluck
  15. Welcome to the scene. That's a nice Rex, another member (add Heywood) Has a similar looking one on here, albeit with a massive wing!
  16. Probably loads of people able to offer better advice than me Daz, but yes, most people will only change the crank if they changing to a 3.4 stroker. I think most ( but not all ) take the block out to 87mm too. Dont see why there would be an overheating issue? Some people even remove the oil squirters or just use an N/A block
  17. The ETS Ti does work out to be about £1400 as Chris said once landed Chaz.
  18. I read on SF that the Accelerated Perfomance supra is in the new series.
  19. The forum had a saying that was often used when I joined, and having read all the builds over the past decade (including Tooquicktostop's) you should probably listen to these guys, as they found out at their financial expense so you didn't have to. Cheap, Fast, Reliable....Choose two.
  20. Write a list, total it up, post a prospective interest thread with payable deposits on the serious items and go from there. If you want to make back the most, thats how you will have to do it. I would be interested in a couple of serious items.
  21. Awesome video Luc, watched it a few times now. I do love you're car on idle, lumpy cams
  22. Looks good, I like the bonnet One thing, those cam pulleys are drawing my eyes away from all the good work with their corroded ugliness, are they staying ?
