  1. Same here. Brought the Grams Ridox front wings years ago and the fitment was so bad that the bodyshop refused to fit them.
  2. I don't have facebook so can't see the link, but I had all pre-facelift lights and went to facelift. You need to route the sidelight wire from the headlights down to the new indicator/sidelights. I tidied up my wiring by cutting all the plugs off, re-routing the sidelight wire, fitting a 3 way Deutsch connector for the facelift indicators/sidelights, and a 2 way connector to for the footlights. Everything is sleeved, super tidy enough to look OEM.
  3. Scottish 2 x v1 MrGRT Mwilkinson 1 x v1 & 1 x v2 Big Mark
  4. I had a 3.5" downpipe and midpipe made by Tim at TB Developments.
  5. My arms were seized and a pain to get off. Removing the old bushes was easy in comparison. I fitted poly bushes, bc coilovers and upgraded anti roll bars, then had it all set up at Centre Gravity. Car drove lovely, no harshness or complaints.
  6. Handling and comfort are great.
  7. I bought the Whifbitz Super-Pro polybush kit a number of years ago when I stripped all my arms and refurbed them myself. https://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/super-pro-1100/ Doesn't include the Diff bushes, so I now have Strong-Flex bushes in my diff.
  8. I have a small hole in mine, so wouldn't mind a new one too.
  9. Yes it's still available. I'll pop it in the car and bring it with me in Sunday.
  10. I have a pair of new gas dampers and the brackets I created somewhere here if that's what you mean by lifters.
  11. Bit of a thread resurrection here, but my car was off the road for many years until recently. And the aerial (or lack of reception) is my penultimate issue left to fix. I had very poor reception when I swapped to this kit but couldn't figure out why at the time. Then looking at it closer now I have 2 queries and am hoping someone that is a whizz with electronics and car electrics can enlighten me. 1) The base unit is amplified, but for that to work you need to complete the electrical circuit, first by connecting the red wire to power, but also the base of the unit needs to be grounded, hence the metal base. On a stock install would be when it's bolted to the body of the car. But with this install it's not. So the base units amplifier will never work? 2) What is connected to ground and to the entire car body is the mast, as the extension via the bracket is grounded to the car. But surely this shouldn't be grounded and would cause all kinds of interference and signal issues? The mast should be totally isolated to avoid interference?
  12. I've got a DCT gearbox conversion for sale if interested.
  13. Actually I do. Tho I hate the things, so have a Nokia with buttons stashed away for when I've had enough of these awful things.
  14. My Tom Tom has died. So this is going to be interesting.
  15. I have a similar manifold and am DBW. I used an N/A power steering reservoir, but had a good fabricator relocate the return spigot (in fact swapped the spigot for an AN6 threaded boss) so to cleared the manifold. Looks and works like OEM.
  16. I replace mine with a twin USB socket with voltage readout. Turned the edge down in the lathe so that it was slightly recessed once installed.
  17. I run a 305 width rear tyre on a 11J.
  18. Just sent you a DM as I might be up for this, but as it's my birthday I probably can't stay for the whole day.
