  1. Can I ask what advantage do you gain over that standard rear adjustment with these being adjustable?
  2. I've got a complete custom loom, but it's a bit of a mess, hence why I was wondering if that single wire going nowhere was another error. But sounds like it's not, so I'll unplug it and forget about it.
  3. Thanks for the photo. Knew they were something to do with those panels.
  4. Can anyone help to identify where these brackets go? I know the 2 are for the rear quarter panels LH+RH, but no idea where the 2 other go. Also, I have this single brown wire with a white stripe in a connector in my passenger footwell, the other end of which isn't connected to anything. Anyone know what this wire is? I'm guessing there would of been more wires in the connector before a certain mapper got his hands on my car.
  5. If it is of any help I've been looking for sounds deadening. In the end I bought a roll of Dodo Dead Mat Hex from ebay seller for £45.99 for 5.83 meters on Thursday. It's being delivered in the next hour, so nice and speedy service. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dodo-Dead-Mat-Hex-Car-Sound-Deadening-5-83m-Bulk-Roll-Vibration-Proofing-Mat/162406372457?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
  6. I've got my old one sat in a box in the garage.
  7. Have you tried Googling what is on the back of the bulb holders, "Toshiba V-2" Top of the list comes this link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-x-Toshiba-V2-V-2-T5-Bulb-Holder-Dashboard-Instrument-Panel-HONDA-TOYOTA-MAZDA-/182824695958 Which if you scroll down mentions bulbs types of 286 and 508, so maybe one of these? https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/r286-standard-replacement-dashboard-bulb-trade-pack-of-10.html. Do these look like the right bulbs?
  8. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?groupid=57 The link above to the group will tell you all you need to know about the auto boxes.
  9. If they are that brittle I'm tempted not to mess with mine then. Any chance I could borrow your spares and post them back to you or on to Kev?
  10. These would be super easy to create a CAD model and then get some printed tho I can't see there being much of a market. If I get time this week I'll take the ones off my car and create the CAD model.
  11. Are you decatted? If decatted you could put the cats back in to quiet it down.
  12. How about driving the car and stamping on the brakes a several times so that the ABS activates and then bleed the brakes, that's what I've done in the past.
  13. My bumper was off as car was being resprayed at the time, so just drilled frilled the middle bolt hole in the light and bumper to the size required to fit the camera, pushed it in place and tightened the nut up.
  14. That's exactly where I've put my reverse camera. Ypu can't really notice it on the car unless you know where to look. I went for one like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Rear-View-Camera-Parking-Reverse-Backup-Camera-Waterproof-Night-Vision-UK/223802708884?hash=item341bae5394:g:5IAAAOSwY-Nd-xui
  15. I've got both my cats from my non-vvti TT stored in a garage doing nothing, only problem is the garage is 100 miles away and I'm not sure when I'll next be there. Possibly next week, but if not then probably February.
  16. You can ship wheels using Paisley Freight if need be They specialise in car parts.
  17. Thanks Brad, glad you're happy with my design/creation. Swivel/Tilt for both Facelift & Pre-Facelift available. Back of Toucan approx 30mm from dash so to allow a extensive range of motion. New Flush fit model now available (not yet been copied) that lets the Toucan sit just a few mm off the dash (physically as close as possible).
  18. Pre-Facelift and Facelift swivel/tilt mounts finished and available. Currently printed to order but will build up stock in due course. Also will have a 3rd option finished in the next few days that mounts the Toucan as flush as possible to the dash panel, against without the need to drill any holes or cut the panel. Approx distance between back of Toucan and dash is 2-3mm on Facelift and 4-5mm on Pre-facelift.
  19. Thanks Noz. I didn't want to drill or cut the dash and didn't want to lose an air vent, so figured the clock hole is the best place.
  20. I'm hoping to have time to sort the facelift this weekend.
  21. For anyone that wants to fit a Toucan but doesn't want cut or drill dash panels I've come up with this little item for my car. Designed this for my own needs but already had a few people inquiring about it, so am happy to supply anyone interested. This is uses half of the Toucan swivel bracket (not supplied, but should come with your Toucan) and allows you to mount your Toucan where the clock would usually be without cutting or drilling the panel and still allowing tilt and swivel. The very first prototype and the idea of combing Toucan bracket with additional parts. And then it evolved as I got in to 3D printing [GRIN][/GRIN] A Lovely fit Bracket on rear secures it in place Swivel section from standard Toucan Bracket attached. And Toucan fitted. CAD model 1 CAD model 2 Kit will come with the two 3D printed parts along with a captive nut and a longer screw. The part that the Toucan clips on to does not come with it, that should of come with your Toucan. At present I've only done this for Pre-Facelift as that's what my car is, tho I do have a spare Facelift IP so will design a Facelift version in due course. If anyone is interested let me know. Estimated price £50 plus delivery. UPDATE: Both Pre-Facelift & Facelift version of the Swivel/Tilt version available, plus my new Flush Fit version that keeps the Toucan as close to the dash panel as possible.
  22. Good luck with the sale! For anyone interested in how they look on a Supra see pics below of my car.
