  1. sounds like you have it all under control
  2. just a point on the bracket Barney, i would look at some bracing or even use the charger as a "stressed member" as the simple butt joint will flex regardless of how much weld you throw at it, on the pics of the oil filter everything looks a bit "grubby" you really need to be scrupulously clean on the oil system and as your offering it up to the block you may introduce some undesirables , it doesn't take much to wipe a bearing out, good stuff though mate and keep up the lateral thinking
  3. i'm glad you said that Smarty i was beginning to think it was just me with the Falkens , i dont know what power people are running with the Falkens but with a small single @ 500hp they were simply the worst tyres i have had, i also had some of the old Toyo T1-S on the back which were good but now have the Goodyear asymetrics which are the best tyres i have run
  4. holy crap on christmas tree batman i have been looking at all this snow everywhere on the news and scoffing, living next to Morecambe bay we have quite a unique micro climate with the Lake district to the north the Pennines to the east and the Irish sea to the west, we NEVER get snow, however its sneaked in through the unprotected southern back door (curse you southerners ) at the moment its about 6" deep and its still coming down, i will sacrifice myself tommorow and trudge to the power plant so you lot can have the electrickery to surf the web, if i dont return its been nice knowing you all
  5. i find http://www.speedflowshop.co.uk spot on, even take stuff back when you make a muff of ordering
  6. they can come in ports suitable for -6 and -10, i would suggest you check out their web site to check which model you have
  7. ah so it was just cheap that you were after and grip wasn't an issue after all
  8. the key to this is to buy quality, i suspect the 255's you had were not the best, a quality 255 tyre will still completely out perform any blogs brand 265/275 regardless of how wide they are
  9. this thread is turning into a gay fest, ok i'm gay as well
  10. my intercooler pre dates all the cheaper kits available now, so i made my own using a Pace core
  11. had a look in my "library" and found these, all mounts use a simple rubber mount but if you are coupling up the IC with silicone hoses i dont think there necesary
  12. heres a scenario then, she rolls up at your door in a very tight frock and says "hey Gaz6002 i am absolutely gagging for it", do you knock her back with the line "sorry love your not my type, your heads to small" and close the door ?
  13. hang on a minute, pert breasts, trim waist, legs that go on forever, and your looking at her head , you sure your not gay as well
  14. if you still need one i have one in the garage
  15. i dont know which other forums you frequent mate but i find this post abusive and displaying a very immature attitude, posting like this will not win you any friends and may even lead to infraction points, people have been civil with you, if you want respect and be taken seriously i suggest you dont post like this again
  16. that has got to go down as one of the all time great replies on this forum
  17. thats just the point, from previous posts you are claiming 32 mpg when driven "for a short time" at 150 and cruising at 120 this is total and utter fantasy, as Thorin says you either have something wrong with the odo or you cant cant add up, your figures are impossible, sorry mate but i am unsubscribed from this thread as its decending into comedy
  18. although i admire the fact you have the courage of your convictions something just cant be adding up here, you are now getting better fuel consumption than my wifes 1.8 litre 3 year old Honda Civic, how do you explain this from a 15 year old + 3 litre Toyota that weighs at least 300kg more
  19. sorry mate, but yes, yes you are, the only possible excuse could be your BF GF wanted to go
  20. in my old job i used to have unlimited access to material like this, however i now have to buy it like everyone else , for bits and bobs ebay is as good as anywhere
  21. yes they stopped offering agreed valuation to new customers some time ago
  22. Dan have you got the vacuum connected up off the exhaust yet, really interested what you find with these mate
  23. are Sky doing agreed value again as they had stopped offering this
  24. i had the exact same myself, RBSX what crankcase breathers are you running
