Well 9am is a bit early for me Seriously though, I hate it when ITV split films across the news. It's bad enough having ad breaks every 20 minutes, without putting up with half an hour of news just before the film finishes!

If you massively retard your timing, then the exhaust valve will open before the spark, and the unburnt air-fuel mixture will reach the exhaust. Cue big flames This is what anti-lag systems do. When the throttle is lifted, the timing is retarded and extra air is added. The air fuel mixture hits the hot exhaust and the explosion keeps the turbo spooled up.

Not sure you already meant this in your description, but at 100% duty, the injector would be open *all* the time, not just for the window available for the intake stroke.

The only time I tried snowboarding I bent my thumbnail back halfway and that put me off a bit I definitely want to get the hang of it. Might book a lesson or two in January. Where's Tignes?

I'm not really set up for recording stuff off the telly, so i beamed it upstairs with a microwave video sender, then captured it with an el-cheapo USB thing with a composite video input that couldn't manage 25fps. That's why it looks so bad

No, you have to take responsibility for your own actions when you drive. If you spun on mud, it was your own fault for going too fast and not noticing the change in road conditions.

I certainly find this with my TT. In damp conditions I can get wheelspin easily up to and beyond motorway speeds. In my opinion, it's one of the best things about the supra that you have to be constantly aware of the power you're applying, the road conditions and road surface.

When I fill my car up after the fuel light turns on (not very often), it takes about 60 litres. So you have about 10 litres left in the tank. That's about 40 miles worth.
