Does anyone know any insurance companies that will insure a car with a rollcage? I've phoned a few places so far (including Sky Insurance) but not managed to get a quote yet. Might have to stay with Adrian Flux if I can't find anywhere Cheers

ECUs, especially ones for motorsport use, can be built incredibly strong. Having said that I've seen a few dead ones, including one with a hole blown straight through the CPU, and one the other day that had sustained a large impact - the acceleration had slid one of the chips across the board!

Wow! I thought I'd spent a lot of mine but it's nothing in comparison to some of you guys! I've spent around £7000 over three years on servicing and mods. Hardly anything has gone wrong with it either, so I've been pleased with it Dodge Viper GTS will have to wait a bit longer... -

Mine does a similar thing. I don't know if it's a fault with my car or if all (auto pre-facelift) supras are poor at adjusting the idle speed as the engine warms. When the car has warmed up, it doesn't always drop the idle speed. I can always get it to drop by putting it in neutral when the car is stationary - then after a few seconds it drops to 650rpm.

Well obviously no-one's advocating hammering it before the engine's warmed up My owners manual says that in non-winter conditions, the car is ready to drive after 10 seconds.

From what I can gather, there's not much point leaving modern engines to warm up (for more than a few seconds anyway). It will warm up faster if you drive it. Anyone disagree?

Use the link in my first post at the top!!! Think the upgrades are like this: 300Kbps -> 1Mbps 750Kbps -> 2Mbps 1.5Mbps -> 3Mbps All have monthly usage limits but I've not heard of them being enforced yet. The new 1Mbit is severely cutdown to 3Gb per month so not sure it counts as an "upgrade".

I've just upgraded my NTL broadband from 750Kbits to 2Mbits Read the T&C if you're on 300Kbps though, as the monthly limit is lower.
