  1. I'm gad you said that as I was thinking this really should be reverted back to clean stock look. That should be the primary objective on this
  2. Looks nice and tidy. Any plans for it?

You need to view it via a proxy site. There was an intervention by Toyota, if I recall correctly. They prevented the images being seen via UK servers (Or something like that). Just find a proxy server outside the UK and load in the link and you will have all the pictures.
  4. I think the active spoiler lip is far nicer.
  5. Who make these? Are you talking about a double din touch screen in car stereo? If so that would be very neat indeed.
  6. Look for my old build thread. I had a Godspeed one. Wasn't that bad to be honest.
  7. Totally agree. Lovely Supra. That is a car to be proud of!
  8. I've not been able to get on all day. .net isn't working now for me. Only got on here via mkiv.co.uk by searching google to see if anyone had posted any issues on another forum.
  9. The rust will need to be dealt with by a body shop. The boot lid will need to be removed to facilitate this but its quite an easy repair in my mind. Is your car a manual or is that some modified auto lever? The reason I say this is the fact that the surround you have there appears to be from an automatic and is not a manual surround. This is likely why the leather gaiter isn't attached. The manual shifter has a plastic bit below the gear knob which holds the gaiter in place and facilitates the reverse gear select. Furthermore, the auto selector surround was never designed to have a leather gaiter, so not sure how it is attached at the base either, if at all? The weather strip on the headlight can be easily repaired with some mastic or other type of waterproof glue. Ref getting hold of a spare strip there are plenty of people on here with old headlight units who might be able to help. Might be worth contacting Dude, Keron or LeeP or Paul W to see if any of them have this part spare hanging around. I'm sure one of them will come through for you. I'm afraid I can't comment on any performance impact from the dented exhaust, but I would say if there was any it would be negligible.
  10. Like others I'm not a fan of the nose. It remind me of the eagle character from the Muppets! Side angle is stunning, stance is far too low for any real world use, so smaller wheels and raised suspension will undoubtably happen. The back end is a little too fussy too. No doubt that will be made more basic for a final production version. I also have to say I think rear wheel drive is a bad idea. I know it's a "real drivers" setup, but the competition is fierce and rear wheel drive just can't compare to real world use vs four wheel drive. I think as others have said it will be handling over performance. I don't think Toyota know how to compete with the price and capability of the GTR, and therefore probably won't. I would love this to be as iconic as the MKIV but I don't think we will see a car as great as the MKIV ever again out of Toyota R&D.
  11. Looks stunning. Very clean and tidy. Should be a monster once you get I on the road.
  12. This setup has been the dream of many for a good few years now. Good to see a respected UK tuner having a go. Looking forward to seeing the results.
  13. Exciting stuff. Will be good I have it on the road and running after so long. Fingers crossed its a downward slope from here on in.
  14. Any updates on this Russ? Been a few months now.
  15. Wow, that's a 3.5!! I was thinking that I wouldn't accept anything less than a 4. That's an eye opener for sure.
  16. Thanks for the reply. I didn't realise you bought it from his stock. I regularly check the dealer sites in Japan, but notice that most of the cars he gets come off the auctions. Regardless it's a stunner.
  17. Matt, was this via auction or one of the Jap car dealers?
  18. If you post the part number I will see if I can find one for you, just incase the reboot/connection option is a no go.
  19. Found this on eBay £125. eBay link That one is sold. Try this instead eBay Link
  20. My computer nearly died trying to download these pictures!
  21. A wonderful epitaph. Sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences to you and the rest of your family.
  22. Sorry Wez, I read that as the prop shaft for some reason and not the drive shafts. Just as easy, although are the bolts that hold the drive shafts to the diff flanges torque to yield? I replaced all mine with new when these were swapped. As above you will need to create some play otherwise you may struggle to get them out from the hub as the splined section is quite long.
