  1. Could also be the cradle bushes. You can get solid aluminium replacement ones for these.
  2. Well I said we would meet up again when I got the last one back from the bodyshop, but we didn't. Now I have another, I will defo be up for a bit of a meet once yours is back on the road. I'll drag my mate Keith along in his too.
  3. Blimey mate. You are having a right nightmare with this car. You've invested too much not to finish it though. Think how great it will be to have it running properly.
  4. Agreed looks very nice indeed. The Scots do seem to have some of the nicest Supras on the forum.
  5. I assume with your carbon scuttle, given that it's for a track car, that there is no need for the vents for the heater system. I noticed this being an omission of Paul Whiffin's scuttle carbon scuttle.
  6. I can almost guarantee that it's the cables that are faulty. Changed a set last weekend on a members car. I also know of another member who is doing his too. We got a spare set on a trip to Keron's gaff.
  7. £3,500 inc VAT is about right in my mind for a same colour respray on a car. I did pay more on my last car, but looking back I probably paid too much. You can probably significantly reduce that cost if you can partially dismantle the car ready for the body shop. This is what I plan on doing with mine.
  8. My car has a genuine TRD bonnet. No aero catches here, just stock ones.
  9. As above, effectively worthless.
  10. Right here are the photographs. No text I'm afraid but hopefully they might be of use to yourself or others.
  11. If you wait till a little later I can post 18 pictures relating to the dismantling and rebuilding of a starter motor. I was going to add this to my previous engine build thread but never got round to it.
  12. You Urchin. Go cut your nails
  13. Forget the show car. Paint it, stick a single turbo in the engine bay and enjoy it out driving rather than sitting in a garage.
  14. If you have an aftermarket ECU, such as a Syvecs, my understanding is that you can just wire in the Nissan TPS and use this instead? Might want to check that with Ryan (Edit - Seen you have Syvecs). Your alternative option is to use an adaptor kit. Greddy did these but often there are copies on ebay. 15. There are three bolts on each window. I dismantled two doors on Saturday. You can remove them with the window up. There are slots in the door panel to access them. In order to slide it out you will also have to unbolt and remove two stopper. These two control the top height of the window when up. It's very easy.
  16. Looks like a chess board. Wouldn't a smaller compact weave material be stronger than the chess board stuff? Is cost a factor?
  17. Just ask people. They don't often get sold when cars are sold for parts. I will confess that I'm hopefully picking a dash up from Keron on Sat. I am paying for this one though.
  18. Should be able to pick a second hand one up for around £50-£70. Might even get one for free if you look around.
  19. Email has already been sent. Know anywhere else that stock this component at a cheaper price?
  20. My drivers seat, right hand lower bolster is looking a little squashed. I want to replace it with a new foam insert. I've seen Westy's guide to replacing the bolster but want to know where is best to source the part. Naturally Capital Seating is one place: Capital Seating - Bolster Is this the correct part? I think it is but would like to know for sure. I've also noticed that the seatbelt/harness guides are flocked, or something similar, so not a direct match to the stock plastic insert. My wifes head bangs against the plastic insert. So I was looking at these headrest inserts: Recaro Speed Headrest Has anyone got any of the headrest inserts, do they fit the factory recaro's? I'm 90% sure these are the correct parts but would like to be 100% before ordering.
  21. Tobias, I sent a Celica ST 205 cable to you with the engine as it's the same cable as for the Greddy manifold. Did you sell this with the copy Greddy manifold that was on the engine? If not you should have one kicking around there somewhere.
  22. Sounds time intensive and fraught with opportunities to mess up. However, the end results speak for themselves. Look forward to seeing the intake pipe.
