  1. Too much ignition timing on E85. Detonation with E85 will lift the head. How much timing were you running? Go with the stock headgasket and be subtle with the timing at peak torque. I've experienced that after 1000hp, you will start lifting the head on E85 quite easily with too much timing. Most likely if it wasnt too bad, you just back off the timing 2-3 degrees and the head gasket still seals fine after that. Also remember to re-torque the head after you've heat cycled it.
  2. The division ms change when zooming in or out, I dont think it's that. There's the same disturbance depending which zoom / division I'm using. I'm also using the fastest 20ms logging time in the Emanage setup. Yeah, I'm using the EMU as a fuel cut defender, it's set up in the analog output map. JZS161 uses the MAP and MAF. We're going to delete the MAF at some point as we have the GReddy MAP kit. Yeah, and I notice the same disturbance in the RPM signal as well.
  3. You sure about that? I highlighted the area on the log that I mean.
  4. Thought I'd use this same thread. Any experts here? My friends JZS161 Aristo that I've been tuning has some strange interference in the rpm and ignition advance signal. Anybody experienced this before? Car runs fine, but seems a little strange. It starts usually when going on boost, like you can see on the log below. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32139684/general/emanage.JPG
  5. Wasnt listed on their web page. How much is it? Does it vibrate?
  6. I would need a 6spd drive shaft. Send a private message if you have one for sale.
  7. Yes UK specs will clear and BBK kits. No tyres, or can be bought with the wheels for an extra 1500€. Brand new Toyo R888 265/35-19 and 305/30-19
  8. I have a brand new set of Work Meister S1 for sale. Tires have just been mounted and driven a few km's. Special order MGM (matte gun metal) color. 19x9.5 ET30 front 19x11 ET51 rear. Wheels have BBK fitment, so for instance a set of Stoptechs fit fine with the wheels. Wheels are in Finland, buyer arranges pickup. 2800GBP / 3300 Euro or best offer. Set is around 4000 Euro new. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32139684/Musti/2016/2016-07-07%2020.25.10.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32139684/Musti/2016/2016-07-07%2020.25.28.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32139684/Musti/2016/works.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32139684/Musti/2016/works2.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32139684/Musti/2016/works3.jpg
  9. Wanted Veilside tear drop exhaust. Any condition considered.
  10. Yeah, thinking about getting the strong flex as I dont have the stock ones any more and looks like the stock ones cant be bought new. I'll think I'll try the Strongflex first as they are less money.
  11. Anybody running the Vibra technics ear mounts? I have solid ear mounts in my car and absolutely hate them as the diff whines with them installed. Do the Vibra technics do the same or anybody running Superpro bushings and can comment if they get any diff sound in the car?
  12. Looks like so much fun. I wish there would be an event like that here.
  13. Here you go: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32139684/general/ps2jzgte.dwg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32139684/general/ps2jzgte.dxf
  14. Why wouldnt you run the lean cruise setup on all the maps? On my AEM V2 where there is no switchable maps, and that's how I've tuned it, ~16AFR on cruise all the time.
  15. Nice results Luc. Spool is impressive for a 1000hp turbo.
  16. Wonder why you opted for the stock rods as they are weaker than the stock pistons. So basically you left the weakest parts inside the engine. I would fit some Eagle, or even no-name china rods instead of the stock rods. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Connecting-Rod-rods-for-Toyota-Supra-MK4-2JZ-2JZ-GTE-2JZ-GE-Conrod-Bielle-TCB-/162022946018
  17. Chris how much posted to Finland?
  18. Looking for a GReddy BCC or similar. I remember someone selling ones that made by them selves but couldnt find the seller. No HKS FCD's thank you.
  19. Making the wheels fit with a specific brake type with these wheels has to do with the DISK TYPE and not the offset. The disk type makes the brake clearance on three piece wheels. The offset is just played with the outer and inner barrel. You can get five different disk types and each give different clearance to the brakes and different lip size with the same offset. You can see the lip sizes and different offsets here: http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/wheels/29/85/S13P_SIZING_1214.pdf On 19" Work Meister S1 the O disc (deepest lip) will clear the rear brakes and and R-disc will clear the front brakes.
  20. MAP system with an OEM ECU that cant be tuned is not ideal, with a standalone it can be tuned easily. In this case if it would be an UK car with a MAF, it would most likely run fine as it doesnt run by intake manifold vacuum but with the air measured from the AFM.
  21. With the new cams, you have less vacuum as the cams have overlap, this is a porblem with a MAP sensor based ECU as it gives more fuel with less vacuum, thinking there is more air going to the engine. If you have adjustable cam gears, you can time the cams so that there is not that much overlap. AEM V1 and I think V2 also adjusts the stock turbo sequential system, but if your car is an automatic, I wouldnt run either.
  22. I'd take her to some where nice and sit with her on a couch and talk a little and see if you have any mutual interests. This one looks nice:
  23. You will be fine with two pumps. My friend did 700hp with a single 485 Walbro on E85 on the stock fuel line and it still wasnt out of pump. So with two pumps you're good for at least 1300-1400hp.
