  1. For sale - Legendary HKS T51 turbo kit, includes HKS manifold and waste gate, oil feed line, down pipe, bell mouth and all clamps. It’s a few years old but it’s only done dyno time so is effectively new. It’s the Kai model so dual ball bearing, rated to 800hp Collection from Lincoln is preferred due to weight and safety of transport. ive put a price of £2700 on it but I don’t actually know what’s it’s worth, but I know it would cost much more to assemble it nowadays.
  2. Bit unnecessary baiting there lol. Turbo or non turbo? Generally speaking more expensive manifolds are better designed, manufactured and finished than ebay stuff like XS Power etc. You only have to look at billet collectors and manifolds to see that
  3. Sounds like you need more revs there! Did it top out at 6100?
  4. Its the Kai series so dual ball bearing
  5. About what people normally sell second hand ones for....
  6. Only way to find out is to buy one I guess
  7. Id maybe try a different ECU if you can find one, it could be on its way out
  8. Dry is no fuel, thats part of the problem, stock ECU?
  9. Exactly, and I know you weren't
  10. Clean as in dry or clean as in wet? If its misfiring but not wet thats a fuel problem. If its wet then its ignition or compression. Have you tried a different ignitor? Having a spark is no guarantee its a quality spark
  11. Thanks for all your input, looks like Ill be keeping it and sticking it in a Volvo or something

    F1 2021

Think its pretty nailed on for a Russel/Bottas swap next season. Future of F1 lies firmly in the laps of Norris and Russel in my opinion, both the absolute class of the field.
  13. Its pretty common sense on a single turbo car
  14. Fuel issue or low compression. If its oil smoke then that could be the cause. What does the spark plug look like when you pull it out?

    F1 2021

Apart from Bottas torpedoing the field, it was a fantastic race!
  16. Due to a change in plans my T51 kit will be going for sale soon. Although a few years old its basically new (done some dyno time) HKS manifold, waste gate and obviously the turbo. Just wondering what it would be worth?
  17. Tyres and wheel size have a crucial role in the ride, stock 16s on a soft sidewall tyre will feel miles better than 19s on XL tyres.
  18. Fellow M5 owner here, E34 and 39. the 39 is a great car, when I sell my Supra thats what Ill buy as well. Re values its not different to Supra's, dreamers, chancers and a bit of the fact the stock is dwindling and good cars are hard to find. A sorted E39 M5 is a wonderful thing
  19. Engine running, cap off so you can see whats going on. When did it start doing that?
  20. So 700+ actual hp, also torque is more important than the power rating. you might get a single plate that copes with it but more than likely a twin plate
  21. System is A) to full and B) full of air. Jack the front so the wheels are off the ground, go lock to lock a few times, get the air out
  22. Yes, a machine shop will be able to fix it I reckon
  23. I’ve got basically a complete engine minus cams and sump sat in boxes in my unit, crank and rods good, pistons shot and bore damage due to detonation. I planned to get round to it at some time but likelihood is I won’t. What would it be worth?
