  1. Happy to help "sponsor" you to keep him for a bit longer I would hate to know how much food goes into him, let alone how much comes out!!!
  2. He is monsterous! Such a shame that he has been through so many homes...
  3. I have a WhatsApp group for a bunch of the GTR owners that track So I definitely like the idea, PM you numbers I really want to do Anglesey
  4. I generally do the same.... tried the area section and nothing....
  5. Will be at Goodwood on 7 July with the MX5, if anyone else fancies attending.
  6. UK -Bruntingthorpe -Silverstone (GP) -Castle Combe -Thruxton -Goodwood Germany -Nurburgring South Africa -Killarney
  7. My track monster supercharged with suspension mods, local is Brands, Goodwood, Thruxton and Castle Combe. Its running about 200hp on normal unleaded right now, it needs some more work on the chassis and I will be trying to see what we can get out of the supercharger setup with a couple of mods and vPower. I also use the GTR now and then, but not as much as this thing, got to learn to drive since the GTR drives itself GTR having some fun at Goodwood in the wet Its running 650hp, newer suspension, ARBs, uprated brakes and R888 (going to R888R soon, so nervous about the wet conditions)
  8. Ouch! The exige is quick though.... oversteer, followed by what looked to be too much oppo. Looked a nice car
  9. This is mine.... supercharged with suspension mods, local is Brands, Goodwood, Thruxton and Castle Combe. I also use the GTR now and then, but not as much as this thing
  10. Someone I know had a 55 plate Cayman S..... not the best of times was had. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/97666-temporary-toy-for-the-summer-porsche-cayman-s/page__hl__cayman Skip to page 7 for bore scoring (£7k +vat bill) and state of engine when it came out (rust).
  11. A friend runs a Cayman R..... is there much different? Or the same?
  12. Id rather wait for the right one than choose the wrong one. I went to TurboFit so learnt my lesson, for fortunately not too bad in my case.
  13. Tattoo cover-ups will be big business for crap tattoos.... unless someone comes up with a better way of removing them
  14. Bucket is worthwhile..... one of the first and most useful changes I did, along with suspension, tyres and SC
  15. Hahaa, forgot about the joy of the leg bracing as well it was left knee on console, right leg jammed on the accelerator and wedged on the door and right arm desperately trying to hold onto anything! Buckets work great What tyres you going to? Im on Yoko AD07, not quite semi-slick, but very good in all conditions
  16. Go to collect the car tomorrow (nice and early departure), still not seen any pictures or the wrap or the car.....
  17. Bubble wrap has been binned, just the boxes left if anyone needs them
  18. I miss the "lean" mine did exactly that and felt so weird in the cabin... MeisterR coilovers definitely fixed that and the car corners quite flat now. They are also adjustable, so easy to change back to road to drive home. I run 6F 8R for road and 25F 28R for track, if I want it to handle well.... if I want it be lose, slow and fun 25F 15R Wheels look very good. Will be down at Thruxton next Friday (24 June) if anyone else fancies joining
  19. Oh I seriously doubt you have any chance of this going away.......... EVER!!! It should be made a "sticky"
  20. Could try Thruxton.... have a track day there on next week Friday and they may be able to get you out of photos/video at lunch time or after the track has closed. Normally quite a helpful bunch. GTR will be there as a support vehicle in its new wrap
  21. what cutting the material? What about a scalpel from model shops?
