What tracks would you be attending? I would personally leave the exhaust alone, as so many tracks are now clamping down on noise, the exhaust and decat may put you over the DB limit. Bucket seats are great for stopping you from sliding around in the seat. Harnesses debatable as to whether they are helpful or dangerous in a car without a rollcage and a driver without a hans device. If you are strapped in with harnesses and you have a crash at 4-50MPH, the only thing that will be moving, is your head! So if you go for harnesses, make sure you buy a hans device to support your neck. Suspension, brakes and tyres are where its all at, but once all changed, it will take time to set it up correctly. Also, will you be using the car on the road as well? I would do the suspension bit by bit so that you dont take it too far.

Thanks and yes, its brilliant on track

After almost 2 years of ownership of this awesome little car, the time has come to sell it. Missus and I are splitting so all cars are being sold. Its a 52 plate MX5 mk2.5 Arizona (so comes with a decent diff) with about 75k miles on the clock. The car was bought completely stock and all the mods have been done while I owned the car. Its been great fun on track and I will be sad to see it go. The car is currently running 200bhp with the supercharger. The car was detailed about 6 months ago Modifications:- Engine -Supercharger kit fitted by Skuzzle -Fuel injectors -Intercooler -Oil cooler -ME221 ECU -Cold air intake -engine mounts have been changed as well Transmission -Flyin Miata clutch and flywheel kit Handling -15" Rota wheels in green -Yoko AD08 tyres -TR Lane rollbar -MeisterR ZetaS suspension Brakes -Braided lines -Uprated brake fluid -Jass brake stopper Exterior -Black hard top roof -Tow strap Interior -Sparco Sprint V seats (have some additonal padding for lumber support) -TRS 4 point harnesses -drift style steering wheel -Centre console has been trimmed as I kept catching it with my elbow on track -USB single DIN headunit In its current state of tune, this car is immense on track! The only cars that got passed me were an Audi R8 V10 and my mate in a GTR chasing said R8. I was overtaking C63 AMG mercs, supercharged jags, etc. On track it is just awesome! The history of the car can be found here:- http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=175297&page=1 The car has service history and has been serviced by me, but I will need to confirm exactly when. Overall condition of the car is very good, some minor marks, but only as can be expected for a car of this age. The headlights are not the best. Underside of the car looked very good with no rust. The car is currently at Skuzzle having some minor work done and a remap on to vpower, as previously it was standard unleaded. I will need to get the car MOTd, but that will be done before sale. Price - £4500 My ex on a cool down lap at Goodwood

After more than 5 years of owning this utterly brilliant car, it needs to be sold. I bought the car new (from Middlehurst) in August 2011. So its a 2010 model but on an 11 plate. It has been well looked after by Sly from day 1 and is still serviced by him at least twice a year. The car has been detailed at least once a year and will go in for a detail prior to sale ready for the new owner. Nissan R35 GTR Black Edition Red Under 45k miles (will go up as its being used) - will be around 53k once I am back in July 654bhp MOT was done in August - new one can be done Engine -Litchfield intakes -Whifbitz silenced ypipe -Milltek downpipes -ASNU injectors -Forge headertank -Stainless steel undertray bolts -ECUTek V5 Litchfield map -ECUTek Nismo gearbox map -ECUTek cable -Powder coated manifold, with engine cover removed -Pop-up cancellors Transmission -Litchfield bellhousing fix -Forge transmission cooler Handling -20" Projex wheels -Toyo R888R staggered setup -Eibach anti-rollbars -MY12 suspension Brakes -DBA discs (Alcons have now been fitted) -Pagid RS29 pads (new fronts are about to go on) -Braided lines -Uprated brake fluid -New rear brake clips - rattle fix -Custom brake cooling ducts (ducted air from the front to the middle back of the discs - cannot get beyond orange on AP temp paint) Exterior -Big-mouth front satin black wrap (done in July this year) -Ducktail bootlid - colour coded -Satin black wrapped front splitter (done in July this year) -Satin blackwrapped bonnet vents (done in July this year) -Satin blackwrapped mirrors (done in July this year) -Satin blackwrapped side skirts (done in July this year) -Satin blackwrapped rear splitter (done in July this year) -Calipers painted black (fronts are about to be re-done) -Exhaust tips painted black -Top Secret auto folding mirror kit -4 rear light kit -Custom hidden mounting for BenSopra style rear spoiler Interior -Carbon dipped gear surround -Carbon dipped centre console -Carbon dipped vents -Carbon dipped door trim -Carbon dipped paddles -Larger shift paddles -Trimmed steering wheel -BlackVue HD (front and passanger facing) -Front and rear facing parking cameras -Audio Vision front door speakers -Custom sub box (JL 8", Vibe AMP) -SatNav has been upgraded to 2012 -Tracker (aftermarket one) -Luxury mats The car has been a pleasure to own, with very few issues. I have had an issue with the battery not holding charge (battery was replaced), steering lock recall by Nissan, headlamp condensation (Nissan replaced) and an o2 sensor issue (both replaced). Excluding stock and Miskin, I believe this is one of the quietest exhaust systems going, I have been tested at 90db static at Thruxton, Castle Combe and Goodwood. However driveby at Goodwood got all the way up to 104db The car has been used as it should be on road trips, events, track, etc and most will probably the know the car. Here is the thread of the life of the car so far:- http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/164758-my-gtr-red-my10.html Photos of the car over time:- Nissan GTR by Graham ... | Photobucket Price is:- £44500 The car is currently at Kaizer Motors having some work carried out (front brakes, front tyres, front calipers being repainted). After this it will be located in London (E1), covered and underground indoor cover will be included No its not the actual plate

For storage at home, I do NOT use single drive units! I have had 2 fail and only because I have multiple backups was I able to recover the photos. I now use a Synology DiskStation with RAID. So it does its own internal backups. The only worry is if something happens to the device, fire or stolen. Im not a huge fan of the online storage too many T&Cs and quite honestly I dont trust them. I only use it for sharing photos that I have no issue with anyone viewing........

woohoo my new toys have arrived!

And some videos My friend in his R35 [video=youtube;HwkL--AA_NM] Brighton Speed Trials Brighton Speed Trials Me in mine Brighton Speed Trials Brighton Speed Trials

Now that was a good weekend! Left London early, arrived at Brighton seafront at about 0700... my friend who had brought his 700+bhp R33 discovered a coolant leak, so rushed home to swap to the R35, luckily he is not in central. As I am only on a National B license, I could only compete in the handicap class. Came 3rd in that class and was beaten by an Austin Healey and sone other thing that both had -9.5 second handicaps and both ran 18 seconds. So I would have had to have gone sub 10 seconds to beat them. First practice run was without launch control and did 11.51 and my only real run with launch control was 10.94 with 1.84 for the 64ft. I was rather happy with that and think the launch can be better. The launch did feel good though The top 6 for the day were mid 10s and 11s, so with my 1 full run, I would have been 4th overall...... oh well, next year I will have my A license. Some more pics here:- http://s920.photobucket.com/user/grahamcleverly/library/Events/2016/Brighton%20Speed%20Trials Should have a video of the good run on the blackVue, hopefully I will have time to check today. My friend in the other R35 was struggling with traction, so decided to steal my rear wheels 1st run he bogged down, have a feeling it was due to too little power on the launch, but then improved on his final run to 11.3, but was just outside the top 6.

I will be at Brighton Speed Trials in this tomorrow, handicap class (batch 2 - not on the list as I was a late entry) only Anyone going to be around? There is a Toyota Supra in the entry list, Paul Simon http://www.brightonandhovemotorclub.co.uk/files/speedtrials/st2016carentrylist.pdf Was cold and damp last year, hoping for better weather tomorrow:- http://s920.photobucket.com/user/grahamcleverly/library/Events/2015/Brighton%20Speed%20Trials

rant 7600 + migrants "rescued" in 2 days. Where's the deterrent?
grahamc replied to Chris Wilson's topic in Off Topic
Well, if we actually charged for the ferry service, we might be able to make some cash. Agree though, no deterrent at ALL!! Surely a couple of tug boats that just drag them back is a better option -
Oh yes.... and I have now passed 40000 miles with this car and still love it!!
-
Ok, so another trip away with GTROC and some more pictures. We went to France for a belated birthday and stayed in a chateau in the Epernay region, so lots of champagne and wine! And this was the level of parking we had to contend with

it looks brilliant!
