  1. Hi there, right I managed to get some time to have a look at this the other day, I took the door card off but I only had to move a bit of the plastic aside to get to a few things. I loosened off the regulator bottom holding bolt a little, then I loosened off the top bolts a bit to make sure they were as far down (in the holes) towards the floor as they would go, then niped back up. I then loosened the adjusting nut at the bottom right of the regulator a full turn. I then closed the door to check it would close without catching, and it did appear that the glass was a slightly better fit at the top, so took it for a drive on M27, bingo no whistling and no drought. I think it just takes a lot of fiddling and checking before you put the door card back on, and I think I was probably a bit lucky.
  2. I have also just changed my drivers side for a second hand one, ( the wire snapped on the origonal one) and I have the same problem, hoping to get out on a dry day and have a look, yeh it is a pain in the bum getting to the mech, I'm going to try and adjust the bottom of the guide rail where it's fixed to the door frame, I'm thinking if I move that end away it should move the top of the glass in, to get a better seal. It's just when you get above 60 that the high pitched whistle becomes propper irritating.
  3. I'm just in the process of sorting mine out, and yes it sounds exactly like that, I already have a spare second hand one that I have just sent off to Chris Wilson to be re-furbished, (Chris is a trader on the site, have a look for his name, he only excepts email, no PMs) so it will be top line when I change it over.
  4. It all depends on what car it is and how knowlegable the owner is, if he goes for the sell then have a max £ in mind but start pretty low and you may get a reasonable deal.
  5. Blitz nur spec R, it's the best of all the things you are after.
  6. This, good colour and very durable.
  7. Heeeeeeeeeere we go! Time off booked, most of the finances sorted, just got to get the computer opperating diget speed up to get the tickets, Who is this "seriously" geezza anyway, and Rog, the Dragonball weekend is both your anniversary treats, you don't need to go anywhere else. John, I'm presuming/hoping it's the same Hotel as last time, they did look after us rather well.
  8. Love to do this, have to check when working and get time off if I have to, but sounds like a good day out, I think cruising through London with a pack of Supras will be good. For me I would prefer, carting, film, food, cruise.
  9. Well done Dean, are you the owner with the biggest back catalog now then? You should be able to get it all sorted, ready for next years Dragonball.
  10. Yes, Most people in the past have stayed at Ashford Travellodge, Eureka Leisure park, TN25 4BN, off junction 9 of the M20.
  11. Shane, what's the cut off date for getting tickets and stand passes? I want to go to this but it would have to be a late decision. Thanks.

  13. Yes it is the right part, for some reason they call it a condenser, I had the same problem 7 years ago, but they were correct when I got them.
  14. I have them in gold, and yes they will.
  15. Yes they will all fit in so long as you don't have a passenger with you, and wellcome to the club, I'm in Stubbington.
  16. Matt, a couple of things, does it sound quite rough as well? you have covered most of the bases, I had a problem about 4 years ago that sounds similar and it turned out to be the exhaust gas control valve not the little switchie valve but the gert big one between the turbo exhausts and the exhaust, they are known for jamming, mine was stuck open, which gives you similar symptoms. with the engine off, see if you can reach down to grab the actuator arm and see if you can move it, this is not easy though, you may have to put some mole grips on it so you can give it some, even normal operation it takes some moving. Just a suggestion if all else has failed, in the end I fitted another 2nd hand one, never happened again.
  17. Have you checked to see if the disc is rubbing on the dust shield thingy, this caused me some head scratching once.
  18. That's realy nice Dave, I don't usually like green cars but the Supra green looks good, worth every penny.
  19. It's fun packing 30,000 items (that probably wouldn't fit in a large Estate) into a Supra, I swear that when I open the door and get out at Ashford, it will be like a clowns car, with stuff explodiong out every where.
  20. Just read your second post (1234), I'm a Platenum card holder, deen with them for a Thousend years and still paid shed loads.
  21. WHAT!!! I paid £60 odd quid for full AA cover, sheeee***.
  22. Can any one tell me the name of the Hotel we are staying in? I've tried looking, no joy, and I'm now being hit over the head and having Hotel whispered in my ear when I'm asleep.
  23. Thanks Dunk, I have the anti rattle springs, I'll take out those plates and springs, grease up and fit em.
  24. There were no anti squeal shims at all on the rear brakes, so does it need them? Some of the later jap cars came with the option of the bigger brake set ups, so when I saw the plates and springs I thought it was just a different method.
