  1. No one else got any info on this? surely some one with a facelift which has a big brake set up could have a look at thiers and give me a buzz.
  2. Hi, I stripped all my brakes down to refurbish them about two months ago, and I am now in the process of putting them back together, I noticed when I stripped the rears they were different to the UK ones I am used to, the brakes are from a 98 J spec and they are the larger ones (two piston). Although they were not the same set up, I thought (wrongly) that I would be able to remember how to put them back together. The way I have them now can be seen in the picture and they will not fit over the new OE discs, if I place them both on the same pad then one of the plates gets in the way of the piston, I usually take photo's in situations like this but I must have missed this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bob.
  3. I've just been refurbishing a set of Uk brakes and they had OE pins, I had to saw through the pins to get the callipers apart, I then had to saw the pins flush to the calliper, then I had to drill all the bits out. You really, really want to fit St/St ones, it makes life so much easier, doing the above took me lots of hours and about 2 years off my life.
  4. The good old British weather strikes again, shame, its a really good drive and meet, I hope we can squeeze it in sometime this Summer/. Thanks for all your work Rog.
  5. Well done Jamie, glad to see that the humilliation hasn't put you off, mind you you'll probably still be faster than a lot of us.

  9. Yeah this, there easy to take off, light rub down, can of spray from Halfords, job jobbied.
  10. Yah, me too, I'm going to watch this one very closely.
  11. Thanks for the comments, I just don't want to distort the skin of the bonnet by drilling or cutting, though cutting or grinding off the bits on the scoop won't be easy either, I'll give it a few more days then go for one or the other.
  12. I'm about to fit a uk scoop to the car and I'm interested how people have fitted theirs, I have only got the bonnet scoop bit (its just for show), do I get rid of the fitting brackets/holes on the underside somehow and then just Tiger seal it down, or do I cut through the bonnet and bolt it down? Any help/suggestions on the subject would be appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Thats why we all buy Chris's SS ones, if you have to tap the OE ones to get them out, the ends splay and then their just about imposable.
  14. It's a 98 S reg 65,000, I have my own private plate so I'll probably sell it on. Exactly, I had a drager that I had to part with about 6 years ago, then found out that they stopped doing them, but I discovered Torque Developments were selling two on Ebay, Yes they do have a special sound.
  15. No it's not what half of you think, one thing just appeared in the garden, got up one morning looked out and there it was, it won't be meeting the public till I have it up to my standerds. The other, a propper artfull thing of beauty, a super drager exhaust, I've just given it another three coats of high temp paint to make sure it stays this nice.
  16. Are you buying the OEM gasket to do this? if I remember it's a round, quite thick, compressible thing.
  17. Sorry Rob can't help with that, always bought from Chris.
  18. Rob have you tried Chris Wilson?
  19. 1) Graham1984 2) GreaseMonkey 3) Ash808 4) Supraleepostcode. 5) steve.m 6) Supradanturbo 7) BOB B. I'm not working for this one, so should be along.
  20. That's fantastic Keron, good job, I've seen mini ones, classic ones, American ones, but that's the first time I have seen a SUPRA one.
