  1. I'm a tiptoe kind-a-guy.
  2. I had just come out of "Southsea coffee" with my wife and daughter, about 11.30 ish, and was walking towards the seafront, when I thought, I know that sound, and as I turned to see, you went cruising past, had a TRD spoiler, and looked like you had just cleaned it.
  3. I would deffinatally go BPU, it does make a good difference and a much more thrilling ride, don't under estimate the Auto it's quicker in a straight line than the manual, plus you have the manual mode to play with, and you will have the benefit of steel Turbo's so you can safely up the boost a bit more, enjoy.
  4. At junction 11 passing the car crash which was on the fast lane, (I was one of the Firefighters) you were both together. Did one of the Coppers say some thing to you?
  5. Thanks for all your advice and answers, Scooter, I don't think they are coming with any bolts, though I'm sure I will be able to get one from some where, thanks for the heads up though. So it looks like I should be able to do this myself by either the use of an engine crane or using some softwood and padding jack the engine up a bit by the sump. I'm just about to look at the thread you put on there, so hopefully it will give me some idea. Cheers. Ok, just read it that seems reasonable, I'll probably do it over a few days, I'll try to remember to take a load of photos, so maybe we can add it to your thread, or I may do a detailed thread on doing both and see if I can get it made sticky.
  6. I'm after advice and or do's and don'ts to fit pre facelift mounts, (with pre brackets) to a facelift car, do I have to have the engine lifted or can it be done in sittue, and if it can be jacked and done on the drive how difficult would it be. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  7. Sorry to jump in but if SupraHW doesn't want them I'm after a set of pre's, do you know if there is a defferance between GE AND GTE engined ones?
  8. Thanks for the coments guys, hopefully some one will take up the offer.
  9. Go on, treat yourself, with all that money you've got for Christmas, get a good, really shiney, nearly new exhaust.
  10. Happy Christmas everyone, (even those who don't have Supras), hope this year has been good to you all and I hope you got some good pressies. Just taking the whole family , (7 of us ) round some friends and start the merry making, chill and have a good laugh people, see you on the other side.
  11. Hi Keron, did the car have decat pipes? if it has I'm after a first decat, if yes how much? Thanks. Bob.
  12. Yes, it took my quite a while to source, I only found one place doing them and they only had 2 left it is a good exhaust, I just wanted something louder so back to the Nur spec.
  13. Hi Marcus, could you put me +1 on the resurve list, this looks fantastic, I was hoping over the past couple of years the club would do a trip up there, but it never got off the ground. Thanks. Bob.
  14. Totally agree with this Adam, my first Supra was an NA and I thought it was fine, it's not comparable to a BPU TT but it was still good fun and got as many looks as all the other Supras. Just noticed, I'm going to have to change my avitar picture now.
  15. I'm selling my Super Drager, I've had it on the car, since new, for about 18 months, and I fancied a change back to a Nur Spec R. As can be seen from the photos the Drager is in a good condition, With one small scratch on the rear box and a dent in the front pipe. The Super Drager has a very distinctive low rumble at normal revs which builds nicely when in the higher rev band, it isn't as quiet as the OM exhaust but not as loud as some, it fits well at the back of the car and looks the part. It has a stainless back box, with the remainder made of heavy duty mild steel, which was sprayed with high temp paint when new but has some chips now, also the dent was resprayed to minimise any corrosion. It was fitted to a TT and I'm not sure if it fits the NA too, I have all the bolts and gaskets to refit this. The price is £350, I would prefer it to be picked up or I would be prepared to travel 40/50 miles for a meet, failing that, I will post at the buyers expense. Now £320 including P&P. Thanks for looking. Bob.
  16. Congratulations to both of you, well done Chris, that's exactly how it should be done, hope it was a great weekend, ( fancy not letting Abz know).
  17. Second the carbon fibre (Ridox replica) boot lip, they do them at Wiffbitz, either that or TRD with CF blade, nice looking car too.
  18. Gold, thats a fantastic colour on the car, or black brakes and gold wheels.
  19. No, that doesn't sound right, even if people like it, there is far too much "whooshing" going on.
  20. I think I'm going to go for one of these, one with a rear camera I think would be the best, because there is so much dodgy stuff going on out there you have to have recordable "eyes in the back of your head".
  21. First half was really good fun enjoyed it, thanks.
  22. Won't get there till about 20.30, not leaving till Trisha finishes work at about 18.00. see you all tomorrow, (and maybe some tonight).
