  1. Could do with a buff up to get storage marks out but is nice and shiney £50 posted
  2. Raptor is what we always recommend. If I ever buy a brand new never driven car that would be the first thing I do to it.
  3. These ones and another from your other thread.
  4. I pm’ed about all the bits I wanted but haven’t heard back...does that mean they are sold?
  5. After reading this it has made me wish I hadn’t binned my gold badges years ago. Literally...off...in the bin. I hate bling. They had locators on and looked oem but I don’t live in Dubai so checked them.
  6. And first dibs on the boot upright trims, I can’t remember which bit is broken on mine. I’ll go have a look and confirm if I will have them if that’s ok?
  7. I’ll have the footwell trims please
  8. Is that boot carpet out of a standard car or an aerotop?
  9. ....and without anything to compare it too £1900 seemed like a good starting point?!
  10. This is brilliant but it gives me another quick question..... Referring to point 21, do you usually Sh!t yourself when completing this job?? If so, maybe you should get yourself a longer handle for you torque wrench
  11. This was precisly what I was asking that I couldn't get my head around. I don't think you understood from the way I worded it though. WHat I meant was do I either: a) drain the sump, take it off and change the filter, put the sump back on and then flush ----- which meant I would have a new filter in there while flushing out the majority of the old oil and therefore old oil going in a nice new filter. or b) flush the system, drain the sump (which is where I meant I would be losing 2L of new oil), change the filter and then top up again. ----- I know this way I lose fresh oil but also this is the only way I can see not flushing the old oil through a new filter.
  12. Where are you? And what is the mileage on it?
  13. I am looking for the oem 3 piece too, the don’t come up often. I have the oem 1 piece skirt.
  14. Ok so the answer to my first question is in there in a thread I had actually bookmarked but not fully read. For anyone else who finds this... 'pour 6.5 litres N/A (total volume 7.2 litres) or 7.5 litres T.T. (total volume 8.2 litres)' - then drop out the old 6L or so and top up, so probably 10L will be needed on standby. But what about my second question? Is there no way to change the filter without losing a couple of litres of clean oil? i.e. Do the oil flush and then take the sump off and change the filter?
  15. I am going to flush out the gearbox fully, change the filter and refill with new toyota fluid. Couple of quick questions that I have been searching for and can't find definative answers to that i thought it would help future searchers to have in one place too: 1) How much fluid should I have on stand by to do the flush? Not how many L does the box hold, but how many will I need to get it fully flushed through. 2) What order should I do it in? I don't really want to take the sump off, change the filter, then pump all the old crap out through the new filter while doing the flush. But equally I don't want to flush it all through then lose 2L or so taking the sump off to change the filter.
  16. Anyone that has removed the cats from their supra will need a ‘special’ mot anyway so I would think headlights are the last thing to worry about. I got my hid kits years ago, slim HID kit on a group buy. Back then they were more expensive, now you just search eBay for slim hid kits and get loads cheap. If they break just put a new one in they are that cheap.
  17. Shock? Or the guide pins on the caliper? Either way if it’s made of rubber it’s a different part to the metal so comes off.
  18. Have you managed to get a key to program? I have one but have never done anything with it as I have an alarm with locking in a button. Might dig out the other key and have a look
  19. You don’t need the magic eraser. That will work but it is abrasive so not good to do again and again. All purpose cleaner and a micro fibre cloth will give the same results.
  20. The 4x4 one would be cool if you lived in Australia, or Saudi, or anywhere you could rip it up on sand dunes. In the U.K.....no, it’s just a massive cost to downgrade a good car! The soarer interior one...there is no other word but ‘why’!
  21. If I did this I would definitely cut up the shifter surround, fibre glass and make it look like it should be there.
  22. Or just put new sensors on. Also, surely the cost of changing your diff and gearbox wouldn’t be worth it for the tiny difference in mpg?
  23. As above. The grey brick of a speaker. Doesn't need to work, the original amp would be a bonus too. Thanks.
